As many times as I have visited Creekside Lodge, I have never been disappointed. If you enjoy nature, peaceful surroundings and being close to seeing some of the best wildlife anywhere, you will love Creekside Lodge. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, and a laundry is available for travelers who pack lightly. I cannot wait to return.

The location is close to the park and about a 10 min drive to the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It was already dark when we left for the hotel and our GPS was not working so we contacted the hotel. The owner was very nice and gave us clear and detailed directions to the hotel even though it...

Restaurant and Lodging are on different buildings. They do have TV and their best Attraction is watching buffalo herd close by in a jeep. Later they will offer you cowboy meals of corn bread, beans, meat and the like. They'll even add on a singing cowboy. Watching buffalo herd going amongst their midst is definitely exciting. You are in the...

I very much enjoy staying at the Creekside Lodge. It sits beside the State Game Lodge inside Custer State Park. The rooms are large and updated. The staff knowledgeable. Very quiet! Every other room has a balcony or porch with two chairs. Approximately $40 more night. Not sure if buying up is necessary when you can go outside to the...

This was a great place to stay. The rooms very updated large and clean. We had a balcony with chairs and a table with a view of the forest. The room had small refrigerator and microwave. It had a table and 2 chairs plus a comfortable couch. The creek ran beside the building. The buffalo roam the property freely. The...

I have stayed in some very historic state park lodges and been very disappointed, but not here. It was a great place. Only 30 rooms at the Creekside Lodge. They were big rooms with a small refrigerator and microwave. It was within a few hundred yards of the State Park Lodge. We enjoyed our stay here!

This is a new lodge. Rooms were great. Clean, historic inn to eat at with a nice bar and gift store. The front porch of the main lodge dining room really needed a little cleaning especially the steps. The buffalo safari was great. Went right up to them and saw a lot of wild life. BUT staff needs to be...

Stayed two nights at the lodge in a room that was both clean and comfortable. Often found there was no one present at reception and a one hundred metre walk to the restaurant and central lodge was needed to get assistance. Encountered numbers of Bison on the lodge grounds at various times so felt it was prudent to carry torches...

Custer is a lovely State Park and a great place to visit! We spent several nights at Creekside Lodge....a relatively new building adjacent to the Historic State Game Lodge. It is a typical "motel" .....conveniently located with nice views. The room is good sized, but the vanity and sink are located in the sleeping area....not a good situation for one...

We stayed here for three nights in May and had an excellent experience. The rooms are large, clean, and have very nice amenities. No complaints at all. The only thing we wished is that we had a balcony or patio. It seemed that every other room had one, but our king room did not. Our room looked out on a...
