Great location for base operation for exploring Custer State Park and surrounding monuments/attractions. The town of Custer had some great eating locations which were a very short drive away even though the cabins are far from traffic. We would stay there again!

We stayed here three nights while taking in all the black hills sites. Super clean cabin, very cute and comfy. Stocked with everything you'd expect and many other helpful items you wouldn't expect. Scott was a very cordial host, making sure we had everything we needed. No tv reception, but movies available to borrow for a nominal fee. It was...

Had the best time in Custer. Black Hills Bungalows a great quiet place to relax. Friendly owners. Great place to see nature. Close to town, but not too close. Perfect for a get a way. This was the view from our bungalow.

Black Hills Bungalows is located just a few minutes outside of the center of Custer. It's all of 5 minutes into the center of the town, but the site feels nicely set away from the bustle of the town. There are a series of bungalows/cabins, each unique, but all with fully equipped kitchens, full climate control, free wi-fi, and then...

Clean and quiet cabins. Family owned. Owners are on-site, available and friendly. Grand kids loved skipping rocks on the pond and petting the miniature goats. Convenient location to all the tourist activities.

We had cabin #3. It was perfect for our family of 4. Loved the cabin/rustic feel. The cabin was very clean and very well kept. Everything was cozy and comfortable. Furnished kitchen so it was great to be able to cook breakfast every morning and sit on the deck to drink coffee and enjoy the scenery. The view of the...

We stayed two nights and found it to be a perfect family getaway after a long day of activities in the Black Hills. The view from the cabin was amazing (see picture) and outdoor fire pit is a must at night. The cabin kitchen is fully furnished and charcoal grill worked great. The owners make it easy to deal with...

The people that own Black Hills Bungalow are very nice. The views are amazing outside all the cabins. There is a pond on site that you can catch fish. You can see a lot of wild life. We saw some turkey, deer, geese, and even peacocks. This is our second time staying here and we will definitely be coming back...

Had a wonderful stay - the view was spectacular, the location which was so close to all the sites was perfect, and the owners were fantastic, caring people who really went the distance to ensure a great stay. Thank you! We will be back, as will others we tell about your place!

Scott and Susan are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make guests comfortable. We were there with 26 of us and used nearly every cabin. All ours but the biggest two were remodeled in a nice rustic woodsy fashion (with others being done in the future,) and the larger two were great for larger families. Two families...
