This facility is very, very clean. The price for two was very reasonable. Great for overnight sleep stop. Right in town so you can easily stretch your legs in this small community right from the motel.

First, just making reservations on the phone was wonderful. Sandy was friendly and so helpful. Then, we arrived and again Sandy was there to give us advice on what to see/do and where to eat. The place had us the minute we say the outside tables where so many of the guests end up in the late afternoon to visit...

I've stayed at the Mile Hi twice (August 2011 and July 2013), and was quite pleased both times. It's cute, very clean, well located, well run, nicely priced, and so much more interesting than standard chain hotels. It's small and not fancy, but everything you need is provided. I love all of the smaller, old-style motels in the Black Hills...

We chose this hotel because we were shopping for value--but also looking for cleanliness and good wi-fi. We found it here! It was small and the decor was dated--but it was clean and the service was good and friendly. I also like that it was centrally located among all of the National Park sites that we wanted to see. It's...

Close to everything you would like to see or do, great restaurants close by, and the owners are wonderful. The best part is you get all this for a great price. Don't...

Arriving in Custer sort of late in the evening during the summer months leaves you wondering if you will be able to find a place to stay. After discovering a lot of "no vacancy" signs, we came across a "YES" sign and quickly pulled in for a look see. This little gem was such a surprise as at first it...

This is the second year we have stayed here. Both times the motel did not disappoint. It is very clean, quiet and just what we wanted. There are restaurants near by and you can walk into the center of town for shopping. We will stay there every time we go to South Dakota.

We booked this hotel via Tripadvisor in the afternoon of our expected stay. We received a confirmation and printed it. About an hour before we arrived, we received a call saying there had been a "computer glitch" and they had rented our room to somebody else. Upon our request, the person who called did refer us to another hotel with...
