We have spent yet another fabulous week at the Gotthard, our 24th consecutive year in this little gem of a hotel, located on the piste, and perfect for door to door skiing. As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, in what can only be described as a first class hotel. The Scheiber family and their staff are all so friendly,...

The Hotel Gotthard literally provides ski in ski out from the doorstep. First class hotel with excellent food and relaxed friendly environment. The only negative that one doesn't expect to pay for tap water in a 4 star hotel! Otherwise a really good choice.

Excellent family hotel in the heart of the region. The service and food are tiptop, but in the peak season you will pay for it. Access to the slope is about the best of all the hotels with the ability to ski in and ski out.

What a fantastic hotel this is. As a family we have stayed in quite a few hotels and apartments in the Austrian Alps and for the past 12 years have been visiting Obergurgl. This was our first time at the Gotthard and it was a real pleasure. Without a doubt the best we have stayed in and so good we...

We have been coming to Obergurgl on and off for 15 years. In that time we have stayed in 3 other hotels but the Gotthard is the pick of the bunch. The staff are friendly and helpful and that comes from the top down. Fantastic spa, sauna and relaxation areas. It's also smaller so more intimate and friendly. Will definitely...

Stayed with two other families for a week in this hotel. The staff were lovely and we were well looked after. The food was superb. The dining area and spa was as good in real life as it is on their website. Our only criticism was the room was over hot and could not ventilate it very well even with...

We returned to the Gotthard after an absence of about 15 years and were not disappointed - we have stayed in many 4S star hotels throughout Austria and Italy and this is one of the best. The owners and staff make you feel very welcome and can't do enough for you without being over-facing. Our room was spacious and comfortable...

Stayed at the Hotel Austria in 2015 and enjoyed the Hotel and Obergurgl so much that we booked a week in March 2016. For a change we decided to try the Gotthard which, on the face of it, appears to do exactly what it says on the label - ski in ski out with excellent facilities and a strong, regular...

We have been coming to Obergurgl Skiing for years now but this was our first stay at the Hotel Gotthard. It's better than a lot of 5* in the U.K. Accommodation great, staff brilliant and if you Ski season 2017 be sure to have a massage the lady found knots I never knew I had! The food is better than...

Warm and wonderful family-run boutique hotel that was perfect for our family ski holiday from 15-19 December 2016. Location was perfect for our family of first-time skiers, first time visitors to Obergurgl (we are now in love with Obergurgl). Room (type D, I think) was spacious and well furnished for our family with 2 young children. Balcony with a majestic...
