Booked this hotel for 3 nights for some snowboarding in Kuhtai (30 minutes drive). The rooms were big enough , kitchen was fully equipped , bathroom and wc were separate and the wc room was not ventilated good enough (ouch). I did not find it as clean as I would like , found 2 spiders I had to kill before... More

We stayed during Christmas and New Year Eve in double room apartment. Bauman family is very friendly and helpful making our stay really enjoyable. Outstanding quality of the restaurant staff. Great place for those who want to be close to the heart of aper-skiing entertainment, but also quiet for those who want to rest. Clean rooms, tasty food in the... More

We had left it late to book and were suspicious of the Waldhof due to previous reviews, but decided to take our chances. The Waldhof was pretty much just as described by the average reviewer - great food and restaurant staff, but some attitude from the front desk. The Negatives: When we arrived we were shocked to see our room... More

Stayed here at Easter 2015 with my family whilst skiing at HochOetz. Was slightly worried having read some of the scathing reviews, but I have to say that after staying at the Waldhof, our experience was a good one and we are planning to stay there again. It's a little out of Oetz, up the road in Habichen. It's about... More

We spent with our family 8 days in this very nice and very good runed hotel. The sevice was great, the food excellent. The owners, family Baumann did their outmost to help us with any wishes or requests. We had an appartment on the forest site, which was very quite and relaxing. A great offer in the recreation area. I travel a lot on business and stay at often very expensive hotels all over the world. When skiing with my family, however, I am looking for something altogether different and cosier - and the Waldhof really delivers. That is why this year will be my sixth year staying at this hotel. I was therefore surprised to read some of... More

We were on our way back from Shteinbal waterfall and stopped to have a late lunch. My husband took one of speciality: beef in mushrooms sauce and I had a fish. Children had schnitzel. It was very tasty meal and very relaxed (children were playing on playground nearby). Service is very good and welcoming.

A group of 10 of us arrived at the Hotel Waldhof after spending a week further up the mountain, hoping for a lovely relaxing last night, what we got was a very memorable experience, but not in a good way. On arrival at the hotel (with confirmation in hand) at about 6:30pm, still in ski gear, hungry and in desperate... More

This is definitely not a 4-Star Hotel in the middle of Europe. The Hotel is runned so unprofessionally. Reklamations will be laughted at. We wanted to spend 9 days from our winter holiday in this hotel and have booked it for more than 170 EUR per day and with demi-pension. The double room was so dirty(pls see pictures). The dinner...
