Beautiful house in an unrivalled location in the town. Fabulous views from all bedrooms. Staff very welcoming and we were very relaxed. English is spoken, but we found French easier. The decoration is sublime and the cave is stunning! We found it easy to find - head up either road through the town and turn left after the wine museum....

The rooms on the top floor are simply breathtaking - with views on three sides and lots of light. Good hard beds, clean linen, pleasant en suite bathrooms. The downstairs Mehana is charming and the walk in cave of a wine cellar imposing. Your host used to be a high school french teacher and is speaks good french alongside halting...

Lumparov's House is a gem of a place. The house is a traditional Bulgarian country house of a century old home. What makes this place extra unique are the exceptional hospitality of the managers. Tony and Tony were INCREDIBLE! The home cooked meals they cooked for us and their overwhelming desire to make our stay unforgettable was unsurpassed. We felt...

The other reviews cover the basics, it's a beautiful building, the food is AMAZING!!! the view is stunning (make sure to have your morning coffee on the balcony) and the price is quite reasonable. The only thing I will say is we had a bit of an awkward introduction to the hosts and it took us some time to warm...

Don't expect your GPS to be of Help. You need to turn left at the hotel that has the wine museum. It is not a road, more of a goat track and there is not a sign. We met so many lovely people trying to find Lumparov's that it became a lot of fun. Once there, we were enchanted by...

Thanks to Tripadvisor we ended up at this great place! The authenticity of the century old house, the charm of the town and the very honest and warm greeting of Toni & Vency made our stay a really special one. It is fabulous to spend some time in the company of the hosts eating real home-made food and drinking very...

The hosts were incredibly sweet and speak also french and spanish, the food was homemade and so nicely Bulgarian. We went on a week day so had the house for ourselves. We were so impressed by this gem. It is a very nicely renovated old Bulgarian house. The view from the balcony is overlooking all the magnificent valley where Melnik is situated. The hosts are a couple of intellectuals who speak perfect French and perfect Spanish, respectively. That evening we were the only visitors and had the occasion to chat with...

We stayed there with a group of friends in the beginning of summer and were stunned! This is a beautiful old house with huge rooms - all renovated, perfectly clean and very very cozy. The hosts Ventsi and Toni couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Their food is amazing and is all homemade - herbal tea, jams, yoghurt, and...
