We did stay here after a long drive from Texas. Hotel was OK missed the last step of hospitality. Staff was helpful but not to friendly. Overall OK value for the money. Having the highest Marriott status did not buy me a nicer room, even...More
I slept there for a night during my visit near the end of September to Joshua Tree National Park. The price per night was among the highest in the area. However, considering their services, cleanness, room size, and staff's hospitality, I think it is worthwhile...More

Palm Springs is about a 35 to 40 minute drive from Twentynine Palms and Indio is about a 45 minute drive from Twentynine Palms. As far as public transportation, I believe there is limited bus service between the cities. The Fairfield in Twentynine Palms does not have limo service. Taxi service between the cities I would believe is pretty expensive. Car rental facilities at the Palm Springs airport is available and depending on the time of the year not too unreasonable.I would not stay in Twentynine Palms without my own or rented vehicle. You might check with the hotel about the bus service between the 3 cities
