The 29 Palms Inn was my base while visiting Johua Tree National Park for a few days in January 2017. The Inn is about three miles from North entrance to the Park. It's basically a right turn and then a straight drive into the park. The Joshua Tree National Park Visitor Center is even closer. The location couldn't have been...

We can't say enough about this unique complex of historic adobe cottages adjacent to a picturesque oasis. The restaurant and bar are open to the public as well as guests and was busy every night. The locals we talked to said it is probably the best restaurant in town. We ate there every night - never bothering to explore other...

A wonderful oasis right at the entrance to Joshua Tree. 'Rustic', yes, but a great vibe, lots of space, wonderful energy. It's pretty quiet at night, may not be the best spot for young kids but it doesn't have an 'adult only' vibe, either. Can't wait to go back.

We spent two nights in the Bottle Room. It was an interesting resort-type hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and we were impressed with the hotel and restaurant overall. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we are in the area.

Arrived after long drive from Flagstaff and immediately felt at home. Stayed 2 nights and really appreciated the good sized pool, live music each evening, chatting with other guests and great food. Loved our adobe accommodation and the proximity to Joshua Tree NP. Enjoyed Pat's very informative tour of the oasis. Definitely a highlight of our 3 week road trip...

We stayed in the Hermitage cottage-very pleasant. It had a large kitchen area so we could make simple meals, and a great outdoor deck for stargazing. The queen bed on the top via ladder might be best for kids-it was a little too cozy for us, but the two beds on the main level were nice and firm, and had...

We stayed two nights in one of the adobe rooms which are dog friendly. Nothing fancy, but the room was clean and comfortable. The dog enjoyed the fenced courtyard. The TV was small, but high def with a good range of channels. The real fireplace was very nice. The only problem we had was on the first night...the sound proofing...

Windy breathtaking desert days hiking in BEAUTIFUL Joshua Tree, cold beautiful desert nights at the 29 Palms Inn with a cozy fireplace and a comfy bed. Walking distance to the park entrance, lovely staff, tasty complimentary breakfast and sweetly DOG FRIENDLY. I will be back next time I need a dose of their desert magic and peace.

We spent two nights and had two dinners at this nice place during our trip to Joshua Tree National Park. The Forget Me Not cottage was clean and comfortable. The food was tasty and the service was attentive.

Loved the fireplace in our room (some), handmade soap, great meals, handmade arts and crafts to buy (real art, not just schlocky crafts). Nice folks and just a wonderful stay! I just wish there had been a hot tub! There is a heated pool but the temperatures were too cold for the pool. The prices were good and we were...
