Spent a few days with my adult son , taking in the surrounding beauty of the property. The history of 29 Palms, and the diversity of the plant and animal life is fascinating. Tour with Pat, local resident and naturalist. She has a lot of history and information to share. Sign up in the office/library. The property is rustic and...

Loved the ambience, the views, this place was the perfect spot for cleaning up and relaxing after a day of hiking in Joshua Tree. Staff, amenities, all were first rate. We saw a roadrunner just as we turned in to check into the inn. Nice score. Coffee the next morning was fabulous. Organic, fair trade. This inn was one we...

This place is quirky but it has such a great vibe. The staff is super friendly, and they're that perfect combo of casual friendliness while also being professional and efficient. I was worried that it was rustic as in run-down, but it's rustic and charming. The rooms are impeccably clean and well-appointed. You can tell they put a lot of...

We rented a room with a fireplace and just loved it! I thought the rates were very reasonable (4120 for room w/fireplace, $100 no fireplace) and the room was beautiful and comfortable. The hotel staff was amazing, the food and drinks in the restaurant were awesome too. We ate at the bar and the male bartender was somewhat unattentive, but...

Recently stayed here and enjoyed it. I know some will say it's funky or quaint but we liked it. Our room (The Hermitage) was advertised as a two bedroom but was really two twins with a queen in the loft above it. Nice little kitchen:fridge, microwave & coffee pot (including coffee and filters) We had to go outside to go...

Stars in the sky, live music playing on the patio, beautiful art to look at and purchase. The Inn is my favorite restaurant to eat at, all year round. I reserved a table for 6 friends and family for dinner and ended up having twice that show up for my birthday last week. They were more than accommodating to help...

What a wonderful inn! Yes, it looks unprepossessing, but given its location, it's perfect. Two nights in Gold Park room. Two double beds, each in its own room. Franklin stove--never had to turn it on for warmth. An outdoor space with a hammock. The accommodations are on the rustic side, to be sure. But if you know that and aren't...

What great value and wonderful experience this was! Starting with complimentary bottle of champagne on ice as it was my 50th birthday. Comfortable room, great location and a fab onsite restaurant with live music. Highly recommended!!

We stayed for two nights in 'The Guest House' which is essentially a single story house a short walk from the main reception building. The house is two bedrooms with a large living room and kitchen (which we didn't use) and a decent sized private garden at the rear. There is only one bathroom and toilet though - one to...

We were assigned a cinderblock "cabin" with a cinderblock enclosed patio that felt like a.....cinderblock. Can't imagine what it's like when really hot as the small window AC could barely keep up in October. We asked for a change and were given one with a small courtyard which helped, but I wish we'd stayed someplace else. Dinner was good, music...
