The hotel itself is pretty old, and we booked because of its cheap (relatively) and convenient for 1 night stay in the neighborhood. However, when we checked in, we were noticed of extra $75 fees, $50 for cleaning and $25 destination fee (is this some kind of resort fee? but there's absolutely no resort).

So we've been coming to Kona Bali Kai 3 times in 4 years and that is because we love the layout of the condos, the location of the complex, the free parking, just about everything is perfect for our stay. I don't normally post poor reviews but have to this time. The staff at the desk are consistently rude to...

It is very old and need updated. Stayed in studio across street and was to have mountain view but the only thing I could see was in someones house window. I would not stay at this place again. There is too many other nicer hotels in that area. The pool is very old and missing may tiles all around the...

We stayed here March25-6 2017, it was absolutely filthy, toilets where gross, they had never cleaned them, there was dirt and dried pee on the toilet base, sheets where stained, carpet was gross, they never vacuumed. We asked to have it cleaned twice, finally after the second cleaning job it was fine, the garborator was broken, so when I used...

We did a late check in due to flight arrival and were greeted with needing to make a phone call to an off island operator who had a hard time directing us to our unit. This was planned as a one night stay until our condo weekly rental at another property was available. The unit was unacceptably clean and made...

First CKBK is not a hotel, no maid service, no elevator or bellman. At check in I was informed of a undisclosed cleaning fee of $104. After paying for 5 nights $940 for a ocean view, I have never experienced this. We were given a 3rd floor room, which is a problem w/o elevator since I have a hip replacement...

This was a terrible condo!! It was dirty and in disrepair. There were undisclosed fees not on the booking site. The cleaning fee was ridiculous as the hotel room was not clean. The kitchen stove was dirty - the burners were black and grease marks were on the stove. There was a huge dead bug in the stained dishpan. The...

This is an older condo rental property but it is well maintained. There is covered parking - FREE - and there is a small beach and pool. The view from the oceanfront units is spectacular and you are only feet from the waves. It is near two nice snorkeling beaches and only three miles from the center of downtown Kona....

This hotel charged a cleaning fee that was not clearly displayed in the advertised price. When the fee is included, the cost is in the range of other places around or higher. On top of this, they actually do a very poor job with cleaning. In the bathroom there was an old soap left, stains on the shower bathtub surfaces....

This place is terrible. They do not provide any room cleaning services. But they charge for a cleaning fee after check out which is pricey. You are expected to get your toilet papers once the provided one is over. Two towels are provided. You are supposed to wash them in the laundry facility provided and pay more. I'm here on...
