We rented this property for 11 nights with 5 Couples and one single person. We were able to get the entire property for our group. We had plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone. The location is great. From the pool yard you can enjoy the sunsets directly over the ocean view. On one night we watched whales breaching from...

Our team stayed at the Kona Sugar Shack during the Raganar Hawaii race. While somewhat distant from most of the race course, it is very close to shops/restaurants in Kona. 1 mile from Da Poke Shack and about 3 miles from downtown Kona. The layout of the house is broken up into up to 5 separate rentals which makes it...

Joe and John were amazing to deal with from the start, the house itself is amazing and perfect for our large group. With different suites for all the different people it allowed us to have some privacy when needed but also enjoy the Big Island as a group also. Having the beach so close was a definite benefit and easy...

Visited this spring with a large group of family (13 adults). There was plenty of space to spread out, everyone had a bed, and the kitchen made it easy to cook for the whole family. We appreciated the air conditioners in the bedrooms, the lovely bathrooms, and the fresh bananas from their trees. Everything we needed was there - from...

We had a LARGE family reunion here. Absolutely the best choice we could have made for a large group of people, including grown children in their 20s. Plenty of room for all to sleep in a bed, not on the floor, and, gathering spots were all over the structure but the BEST was the balcony view onto the beach and...

Million dollar view of sunsets from lanai, lovely pool, snorkeling and bogie boarding or swimming just steps away. Everything you need for beach provided (chairs, bogie boards, towels, etc.). We had fresh bananas from their trees on site, their was plenty of...

The Kona Sugar Shack is completely as advertised. The location is great, and views are amazing. There is wonderful snorkeling just down the street. This area is a little quieter than the touristy areas up north. We really enjoyed out stay.

Enjoyed dining with entire family on the beautiful 2nd floor lanai. Great ocean and sunset views. The sunsets are better than Key West. No noisy crowd. Can sit on lanai or walk across street...
