Great staff, friendly, helpful and an example of warm aloha spirit. I was allowed to check in early and even upgraded. My staff was just for one day but I had a clean room, the pool area was very nice and staff in the hotel shops helpful and friendly. Definately a winner in my book!

This isn't my first trip to Hawaii, so I'm familiar with a partial ocean view room... but this one is by far the worst. It should be called: there is a slight portion of ocean for your viewing pleasure. Seriously, it is a joke (picture attached). Save your money and just get the cheapest room. The closet doesn't fit a...

The location of this property is excellent. Literally right at the pier with a small beach and within walking distance of several restaurants. The room was smaller than most chains of this caliber but not a real problem. The bathroom was kinda strange. There was 1 hook for bath towels and no rack whatsoever. No pull out clothesline to hang...

Aloha, We thank you for the comments you've shared with us and our readers. We are pleased to have provided you with a great stay. One note about the parking, our rate is $17 dollars a day per vehicle and not $25 like you mentioned. If you have a copy of your billing statement and it shows we charged and...

The rudest staff I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. At one point we dialed the front desk, after 15 rings on three different extensions, someone finally answered and we said what would we have done if it were an emergency She said DIAL 911. No room service. When we checked out they charged us twice on two different...

I apologize that your stay was so disappointing. I can understand some of your frustrations, however, we do our very best to accommodate all the needs of our guests. We would never deny a request to relocate a special needs guest to another room unless no other ADA rooms were available at the time. As for the other negative comments...

We have stayed here on previous vacations and found it a very handy place to stay in Kona. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Great little pool and beach area for kids (and adults). We paid for an oceanfront room and had to switch to a regular room because we were initially put in an ocean front room that...

We're sorry for the disappointment with your room's location. If you had pre-paid for a full ocean front room, we should have provided that to you. However, if you "requested" an ocean front, those are based on availability and if none were available at the time of check in, I can understand how you would have been assigned to a...

My husband and I stayed at a hotel across the street from this Courtyard. We took an island bus tour on the Big Island; we were instructed to go to the Courtyard for pick up by the tour operator (Roberts: wonderful circle island tour). We arrived early so I asked for directions to the restrooms. Jean/Gene at the front desk...

I apologize for the way you felt you were treated by one of our employees. It is true to the hotel restrooms are locked and a room key is needed to enter and Jean was following our house rules. Paid for the oceanfront but the room looked like it was only partial view of the ocean. Requested a higher floor but was given the 2nd floor and the room was vibrating like there was construction going on but there weren't which is weird, good thing we did not always stay in the room. Location was good because there are...

We appreciate the comments you've shared with us. It sounds like you had a delightful stay. We are in the process of renovating different areas of the hotel.
