As local Alaskans my mom and I get away for a weekend each summer and have for about 15 years now. We used to select a different destination each year but for the last 4 we've gone to Seward and stayed at the Brass Lantern B&B. Maureen is a great host and always surprises us with special homemade treats. It's...

We stayed here on our recent trip to Seward and were happy with our accommodations. With that being said there are some pros and cons that the prospective lodger should take into account. This is a somewhat attached apartment to the owners home. It is quiet and very convenient to downtown Seward. There is a view of resurrection bay the...

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed for our three day stay in Seward. Maureen supplied us with more than enough food for our breakfast and the full kitchen meant that we could prepare our own lunches and dinners. Off-street parking was also a bonus. We would definitely recommend the Brass Lantern B & B...

We loved our stay at the Brass Lantern B&B. It was exceptionally clean and stocked with everything that you could need including DVD's and books. Maureen had a very good continental breakfast and also delicious banana cake waiting for us in the kitchen. There was also a bowl of fresh fruit that was much appreciated..The view from the living area...

They say sometimes it rains in Seward, sometimes it pours. If you're staying at the Brass Lantern you don't really care as you know that no matter what adventure you've taken on, there is a warm, dry and comfortable place waiting for you . The location is walking distance from the main street and aquarium. Comfortable two level house. Wonderful...

We stayed at the Brass Lantern in early August for a few days during an overall weeklong trip to the Kenai Peninsula. This little charming hotel was very close to downtown Seward. We walked everywhere we needed to go (but we did still have a car, which seems necessary in Alaska.) The Brass Lantern had lots of room and two...

This is a wonderful little bed and breakfast. It was so relaxing, self contained and very private. They had the most wonderful selection of snacks and breakfast items. It was super clean and very convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the boat tour area. We loved it!

My niece and I loved staying here. Maureen (the owner) was so helpful and accommodating. The airline lost my luggage and Maureen helped with all the arrangements on getting it delivered to our place. When we arrived and went to settle in (I can best describe it as your own 2 story townhouse), there were fresh muffins, fruit, fresh baked...

We had a wonderful stay during our visit in Seward. The space was a great size and had plenty of room for the three of us. Maureen was very kind and easy to work with and provided a wonderful continental breakfast with plenty of options that appealed to everyone and even included a few homemade treats! My husband, daughter (age 11), and I stayed at the Brass Lantern for a couple of nights at the beginning of our great Alaska adventure. Maureen set a high standard for the rest of our two-week trip. The simple but clean and cozy accommodations were exactly what we were looking for. Loved being able to open the windows to let...
