Great place not far from the main town. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Loved all the little quirky things over the walls. Really enjoyed our stay! The little outhouse was especially great. Not what we were expecting.

My wife and I stayed in the Little Dingy for 5 nights. It was the perfect basecamp for adventures in Seward and beyond. We enjoyed the pancake breakfast, the well stocked kitchen and ample common space for relaxing (the dingy is comfy, but quite cozy). Heather is the best hostel owner we've ever met and really enjoyed all our interactions... More

Love the theme and the small homie atmosphere. Bucky the hostel cat is super friendly and is even more down to being held than my own cat lol. The outhouse is actually super cute and has all the decorations and a lamp inside the wooden shed. The beds in the hostel is nice too but its co-ed just fyi. The... More

Fun and original place to stay. Very friendly people. Loved the fact that you can make your own waffles for breakfast! Easy to take a taxi or hitchhike to downtown. (Thanks for bringing uw also to the cruise terminal!)

This place was perfect for what we needed. It is a fantastic rustic Alaskan hostel. That being said, if you are looking for a fancy hotel this is not for you. We stayed in the Sourdough cabin. It was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. What more do you actually need? The bathroom and shower facilities were also... More

My husband and I stayed for a night. What a cool unique idea! I applaud the woman for the captain and sea theme, the cute messages! The place is just full of character. Our hut, wolfs den, had 3 sleeping places, was very cozy and fun! The entire place is very clean. There is butter to make breakfast and options... More

I am confused about this place... Let me explain i was there when the tourist season just started, so had the place to myself which was great. I had the whole hostel to myself . I could sleep whichever bed fancied my imagination and no line up at the counter on the breakfast table. Seemed almost idyllic. It's got that... More

I stayed here 2 nights, after my experience of sleeping in female dorm rooms, I found a private room for 150$ in Nauti otter inn, which is actually a combination of private rooms, hostelling-style dorm room with beds, and some cabins in the backyard. The room was very cute and very nicely set. PROS: There is a PIANO!! Although I... More

This place is just different and unique. I had a great time staying there and loved the rooms, the clean bathroom, the shared living room and kitchen, and mostly the back yard. The owner is the most nice person I met, and she does everything possible for her guests. It maybe a little far from town, but the bus stop... More

I have to ask...How does this place receive a higher rating than a REAL hotel or lodge in the same area?!?! We literally slept in a shed and paid $200+!!! This place is good for 18-29 yr olds or if all the other places in the area are booked and you need a quick place to sleep. The only good... More
