This is not an Inn, it's a motel. The full name is Breeze Inn Motel. The bathroom had so much scum i could not believe my eyes. I usually don't complain to management about rooms, just never go back to that place if i am not happy with it, but in this case i went straight back to the front desk and showed the lady the photos of the tub in the room she had given us. I said it was unacceptable. She responded that she wasn't the one who cleaned it and there was nothing she could do. I asked to have it cleaned, she said not possible, she was the only one there. I asked to be moved to another room, she said not possible, they were fully booked. I then said when I pay close to $200 per night i expect a clean room. Her response? Well, you actually got a deal because you booked through Expedia. It's actually more than that.... Like THAT justifies filth! Just look at the photos. The window seal is filthy, the fan and the buttons are filthy.. the bed cover was stained.. and the tub in the bathroom was simply unacceptable. Never, ever again.. I'd rather camp next time than stay at this place. Cleanliness is number one for me. I have to say that the front desk clerk changed her tune a bit after talking to the manager and she was more "sympathetic" when i went to check if they had other rooms to move us to. The manager was also more polite than the front desk lady the night we arrived; but still no resolution. Even if they could not give us another room, she could have very well said here's 2 vouchers for a free breakfast one of the 3 days you are staying, as a token of our sincere apologies for the filthy room. But they did not even do that.. They could move us to another room, until they were able to get someone to clean that one before their other guests arrived. They did not offer ANY resolution whatsoever.. Not recommended.

There are better alternatives in Seward. This is an out-dated hotel with paper thin walls and it does not even match up to the standards of Motel 6. The staff was disinterested and unfriendly. Stay somewhere else.

This was a fine basic stop for one night. There is nothing fancy about it. We had a room that was in the older section, second floor, door opened out to the outside walkway, view of a parking lot. But there was an elevator thankfully. People at the front desk were very nice and helpful. We ate at the restaurant which was fine. You are in a smaller town in Alaska, so it's not going to compare to NYC or LA. This is a perfect stop if you are doing one of the marine tours or going to see the Sea Life Center or going to a glacier. Basic, safe, no frills, older style motel feeling.

The hotel is located near the main part of town, but do not think that all of the rooms are like the lobby picture on the website. The rooms off of the main lobby are priced 3 times what they are worth, do not include breakfast, are dingy, gloomy, look out over the parking lot alley, and are very basic. Ok for one night, but not for any longer.

Great staff, wonderful location, cleaned well. Not the best views, road noise, the older section has thin walls, poor beds, walk-by bedroom windows - a 1950s experience contrasted with the very nice entry and lobby. Their restaurant isn't bad, and Steve's nearby has great views and food.

Thank you for your review. The original section of the building is motel style and is the oldest section of the motel. I would recommend a Harbor Annex room for great views of the small boat harbor. The newest section of the hotel is above the lobby and has great view of the mountain across the road. Ray's Restaurant is across the street for fine dining.

This was the 2nd time we stayed here. The location is great, in my opinion, as we took a boat ride out to Fox Island. It's 1 street over from the harbor where the commercial boats dock. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. It had all amenities, but no microwave, which is fine as we don't use them.

This place was in a good location of town. Basic rooms clean though. You get what you pay for. Ladies at front desk were very helpful. Can walk to everything from this location so there are definitely some perks. I do have to say though that there is what looks like mold growth in the bathroom.

Although the room was a bit small, it was very clean and provided everything we needed. The staff was friendly. Conveniently located, with stores and restaurants around, I will stay there again if I return to Seward.

After there is nothing fancy about this hotel but it was very clean we did have a room with a view of the water but the windows were too dirty to see out. Right in the middle of town what town there is they do have a restaurant and bar. They also have laundry service and a stuffed bear in the lobby

Thank you for your review. We are located in the small boat Harbor. If you are looking for downtown, it is south of the hotel, about 1 mile. You can walk the bike path, along the Bay, to reach your destination. There are many stores and restaurants to choose from.

The bed and shower were good. The location is close to the train depot, bus stop, Exit Glacier guides and most importantly small harbor where you find departures for bus tours. It was a bit old, but definitely a fine place to sleep.
