Pros: This place is a short walking distance to the waterfront, harbor, shops & restaurants. Our window faced the harbor and sea life center. We were checked in by a friendly woman, and never saw her again. They arranged a discounted day cruise for us before we even arrived. Breakfast was fresh baked cranberry bread and fruit. They allow dogs.... More

Tom met us at the more visible location, and then took us to A Swan Nest. The room worked, but was very small. Spartan, but with a generous spirit. I don't think we would stay there again, but it was a good choice for the night.

This is a nice, old building that has been converted into a hotel. The location is great, within walking distance of shops & restaurants and the marine center. Our room was right off the common area, but fortunately there was no noise from the other guests. My only complaint is that the pillows were flat.

Overall my husband and I were happy with our stay at A Swan Nest Inn. The owner, Tom, checked us in and later we saw him in the common eating area and he chatted with us for awhile. Very nice guy. Our room had a window with a view to Resurrection Bay, which I enjoyed very much. Room was smallish... More

It is a great B+B. The woman who runs it was very helpful and friendly. We had a last minute additional guest as my son came on the fishing trip with us. And it was no problem at all. Close to downtown. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had to leave on our charter at 5am, so we missed... More

This was a last minute booking and I was very happy with it. I had room 8, which is probably the worst in the place. The window faces the street, door the common area and wifi signal didnt reach into the room. However, the room itself was great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. And all the staff... More

This B&B reminded us of a European hotel, with small but tidy rooms and a sunny common area for breakfast and snacking. The accomodating hosts will cook a meal for you and even do your laundry for a few dollars more. It's well situated for strolling around downtown Seward and the waterfront park, and only a couple of minutes by... More

Check in was easy and convenient (available after 5:00 pm). Tom, the proprietor was welcoming and informative. A little glitch on reservations as the website did not allow us to add a third person and had to resolve that at check in. ($16.50 per night for an extra person). Room was small but adequate. A loft for the extra person...best... More

My husband, grand daughter and I were very comfortable in our room. Tom (owner) and Sarah(manager) couldn't have been nicer. There is a huge kitchen, Laundry room, counter with assorted teas and hot chocolate and a lounge area. We were welcome to use whatever we needed. The rooms are simple but that doesn't matter to us. It was clean. If... More

Unfortunately I think we had the worse room in the inn. The window in the bed area opened to a cement wall, and had no screen, the bathroom window was large but didn't help much with circulation of the room. The head of the bed was situated under the loft with the ceiling fan at the foot of the bed.... More
