Beuatiful location and great views. It's in a lovey quiet and peaceful location, with a relatively easy trip into town. Kathleen very friendly and nice breakfast too. Room on top floor at far end of building was really big with great views and very comfortable...More

Steps to the shore! Great view of bay and super quiet! We really enjoyed our stay before we went out on the glacier and wildlife your! Jim and Kathleen were wonderful hosts! I look forward to returning next trip to Alaska!

Ethan (the gentleman who "checked us in") was very personable and helpful. The lodge is just shy of average. The interior of the rooms is sub-par and the bed is extremely soft. There was mold in the bathroom & it wasn't really clean, poor amenities...More

Did you have any luck staying here. I stayed here back in 2008 and had the same problem with the communication issues. I am sad to read they have not gotten their act together yet.
