We stayed here 2 nights while traveling on the Kenai penninsula. We had a very nice experience here. The bar in the hotel is quaint and the breakfast is very good. All the food is made to order. The hotel may be dated but it's very clean. We were in the historic part of the hotel and the room was...

My brother and I booked a historic wing room with twin beds at the last minute. It was clean and the shared bathrooms were clean and available when needed. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the historical artifacts and mounted animals really added to the whole ambiance.

We decided to stay here based on reviews here. Disappointed would be an understatement. First, there is no mention that the rooms do not have private baths. There are 16 rooms sharing 2 bathrooms on my floor (one bathroom doesn't have a sink to wash your hands). We requested a queen bed and got twin beds. The room is crazy...

Dear Guest, From your review it appears there was an mistake made at some point in your reservation. As most hotel do we send out a confirmation that explains what room style was reserved at the time of booking, the goal is verified everything before arrival. I am sorry you had not reviewed your confirmation before arriving and therefore had...

This was a very nice hotel to stay at after a week long Alaskan cruise. The hotel staff was awesome. One of the managers even went out of his way to pick my wife and I up from the cruise pier after trying to get a taxi for an hour. The hotel is a little dated in some areas, but...

The hotel was clean and very comfortable with a nice restaurant in the main lobby. They also had a washer and dryer on hand, which was very helpful. My husband, wanted to fish for sock eye while in the area, and the hotel referred us to a man named Wes Oetinger. He works for the hotel and also provides fishing...

The hotel is located near the water and the SeaLife Center and other Seward downtown locations....all very handy. Their shuttle was useful to the extent that they would travel where you wanted to go. Ms Genes Restaurant was convenient and good quality but expensive. The room we were in the new section of the Hotel was cramped with too much...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your input. We do live in a postcard and appreciate the location. I agree the top exterior wood trim needs some care and when weather permits it will be addressed before next season. To help understand our room size we are on the larger size of rooms. But it may seem smaller because we have...

This hotel is clean and comfortable. We stayed in the king suite. The decor was dated but the view and comfiness outshines the decor. We we able to open all our windows and enjoyed the breeze. We had a small issue with the smoking from outside the hotels front door- it travelled up to our room. I would recommend not...

This hotel is a small, historic building in downtown Seward, walking distance to all of the local restaurants, pubs and the Seward Brewery as well as the waterfront. While the rooms are on the small side, the staff is friendly and all the normal, expected amenities are available. We stayed here three nights in high season and had a great...

Like staying at a B&B in that it was very cozy, warm, clean and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. This is only the second time I've been to Seward and the hotel is in such a perfect location - close to the shops and restaurants. I have to make mention of the shower! It was the greatest water...
