This hotel is a small, historic building in downtown Seward, walking distance to all of the local restaurants, pubs and the Seward Brewery as well as the waterfront. While the rooms are on the small side, the staff is friendly and all the normal, expected amenities are available. We stayed here three nights in high season and had a great...

Like staying at a B&B in that it was very cozy, warm, clean and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. This is only the second time I've been to Seward and the hotel is in such a perfect location - close to the shops and restaurants. I have to make mention of the shower! It was the greatest water...

Immediate smell of mold in the building. The carpets are old and need to be replaced. We were on the first floor and had no view. Staff was not helpful... Asked 3 different staff and no one could not give a recommendation for a restaurant in the area. Good location and decent beds but I highly recommend not staying here.

Dear Guest, Thank you for staying with us. I appreciate your input, I am sorry you were disappointed with the Hotel. The Historic Wing is older and some guest may be more sensitive to the age of the building ,but please let me assure you there is no mold in the building and all carpeting was update during the refurbishing...

This is an updated hotel originally built in 1905. It's about a mile walk (or drive) from the busy docks of the sightseeing and tourist business, but still in the downtown area. It clearly has character. As you walk into the lobby you are struck by the countless stuffed game animals mounted on every surface. But the rooms are tame...

Had a wonderful room for two nights. Very friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Clean. Fantastic breakfast. Very beautiful and convenient location, perfect to visit the Alaska Sea Life Center, and take a walk along the cost. Great restaurant in house, other places to eat or have a drink are close by. We had a great stay with a comfortable room to...

Wow, the time spent at Hotel Seward was one of the great highlights of our group tour of Alaska! The accommodations and staff are superb. One could spend hours just enjoying the décor of the lobby and hallways. The innkeeper, Mary, exudes hospitality and charm. Her associate, Ron, is a prince of a guy who makes every attempt to please...

We stayed here one night during our visit to Seward in one of the economy rooms, 2 twin size beds and shared bathroom. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. The bathroom situation was better than what I expected, they provide Lysol to sanitize if you like. They also provided tub/shower cleaner if you wish to use it. The lobby is...

We stayed for 2 nights. We were not impressed. The staff was unfriendly, but not mean. Our room was on the first floor and our view was of the parking lot. We requested a king sized bed but got 2 double beds. The room had a funny smell to it. The hotel itself is a Victorian hotel cluttered with stuffed...
