Really loud music until 01:45… Reception told me it is from the pub next door. The room was pretty small and not very clean (shower head was really disgusting… ). The reception gave me free breakfast (nice, but with limited selection) due to the above, but 1349 DKK for such a room is not really a bargain… Location is really... More

Dear MarcoPolo Denmark Thank you very much for your review which we, despite the negative comments deeply appreciate. This is our only way to get better. I am though, terribly sorry to hear that you didn't get a full nights sleep due to our neighboors' loud music. We are sorry! Or challenge regarding noise lies within the fact that our... More

Now I have had an interesting experience here in the past but I got over it. This time it was amazing. It was the day of the Christmas beer delivery. The Kro is a wonderful old Danish bar with steakflesk (look it up) served with the best parsley sauce ever. Beautiful staff like thomas served us like royalty on the... More

The hotel is very pretty both outside and inside. A cute little building, very romantic. The room was ok. Nice big cushions on the bed were the best feature of the room. The bathroom was also just ok. The Molton Brown toileteries did not make up for the non practical rather old fashioned bathroom. There was a 10cm glass shelf... More

Really do not know where to begin. I grew up having most family events at this hotel, and have seen changes in management and ownership over the years. I stayed here last time in Spring 2014 and this will for sure be the last time anyone in my family will stay at this place under current owners and manager. Received... More

Does not quite live up to its promise. Front office staff was a grand total of one slightly irritated and unhappy man. They had forgotten some details about the booking and took all evening to correct it. The room was tiny - tiniest room I've ever stayed in. Clean though. They worst part was that there is no ventilation and... More

This has actually always been one of my favorites and I do still come back. It has atmosphere and history. Great options to eat in the bar area, the conservatory or outside. The kitchen is very modern and the food was quite good, but service a bit slow and regrettably the lobster soup was too salty. I recommend eating here... More

I sailed the world championship here July 2016 and shared a double room with a fellow sailor. We didn't notice the bed size on the reservation and where shocked to see that the bed was 140cm!? So a single bed for two guys... The room was small and standards where low. The staff was friendly and the restaurant next to... More

My wife and I has our wedding at Skovshoved Hotel. A fantastic party for 46 people, where we cannot call out any problems or issues what so ever! From the planning before the wedding all the way through the actual evening and the breakfast the morning after, the staff at the hotel executed flawlessly. The venue itself is stylish, yet... More

We had booked room, dinner and concert many months in advance. When we arrived, they had overbooked the place, so no room. The front desk man was extremely rude and arrogant, offering us a hotel 3 km's away, which we know not to be very charming, and a taxi forth and back for the dinner. We asked to get our... More
