In order to make the most of your stay in Alsace, we invite you to stay in our fully renovated guest rooms in January 2018, you will enjoy all the modern comforts and tighten immersed in the heart of Alsatian wine life. All our rooms are equipped with their own bathroom and toilet, linen, flat screen TV and free wifi.

There's nothing like immersing yourself in the world of the vineyards, smelling the aromas filling the air and tasting real oenological gems. This is precisely what my friends and I experienced recently during a visit to winemaker Sophie Fahrer in St Hyppolite in Alsace, in the company of Clarisse.
As soon as we arrived at the estate, we were warmly welcomed and guided through the different rooms where Alsace wine is made.
Clarisse gave us valuable explanations about each wine:
Gewurztraminer, the emblematic grape variety of Alsace. We then discovered Riesling, a dry and mineral wine, with citrus aromas. Clarisse explained to us that this wine was ideal to accompany fish and seafood. Pinot noir: She told us about the importance of terroir in the cultivation of this grape variety and how this translated into wine. The visit ended in style with Crémant d'Alsace, a sparkling wine produced using the traditional method. Clarisse revealed to us the secrets of its production and we appreciated the delicate bubbles and freshness of this Crémant. A real festive note to end this visit in style.
During this experience, we were able to appreciate the passion and know-how of Sophie Fahrer, a winemaker who puts all her heart and talent into the creation of her organic wines. We were won over by the quality and diversity of its vintages, as well as the warm welcome that was given to us.

4th stay for us at the estate, the welcome is always warm and family-friendly! Comfortable and clean room, copious breakfast with local products (fresh eggs from the henhouse, homemade jam, grape juice pressed at the estate, etc.). Little extra, there is now air conditioning in the rooms. Raphaël makes us discover the passion for his (organic!) wines and the history of the estate. There is good advice on visits and activities to do in the region, His wines are excellent and very reasonably priced. The whole team remembers us every time. It is also easy to park your car (or campervan) nearby.

It was planned to visit the cellar, tasting and a snack, for the price of 25 euros. This price is too high considering the services provided. The reception is quite cold. During the tasting, an employee smokes a cigarette near the guest tables. Not very professional of him. Among several areas visited in this beautiful region, this is by far the least welcoming.

This is a classic Alsacian family-domaine with an excellent portfolio of Alsace wines. The Crémant is excellent and their Pinot Noir is one of the best in this region. We were a small wine-tour group and had a blind tasting session in black glasses, which I recommend to every wine enthusiast

Pleasant and very friendly place located in a wine production cellar and in a village surrounded by vineyards. Easy parking and access to facilities even if you arrive late. Excellent buffet breakfast. I don't give it top rating just because of the furniture in the rooms, which deserved an upgrade.
