I stayed at this hotel for two weeks. On arrival I received a warm welcome and was shown my room. It was charming. Quite spacious. The shower room had a very good shower with strong pressure of hot water. Shower gel was provided from a dispenser. Hard soap by the sink which is good. Breakfast offered bread, croissants, butter, cheese, cold meats, yoghurt, juice , boiled eggs and coffee or other hot drink plus made lines etc. The bed linen was changed regularly and there were clean towels each day. Great value for money. Well done.

I arrived in the winter, in the rain on a motorcycle. I chose this motel for cheap price and easy to find location - it is both. Everything is well up to what you'd expect for budget price and great value but the radiators weren't turned up and room felt chilly when I arrived. Getting warm was a priority for me at the time! It all warmed up in a while and the bad start was transformed once I treated myself to an outstanding meal at La Flambee restaurant about 200 meters away. The combination of good value, easy of access off peage and really good restaurant nearby means I would certainly go back here despite the average rating I've given it.........if the heating had been on when I arrived I would have been more generous and with a bit of luck the management will respond to this review and put things right. Don't let me put you off and put thirty euros to one side to eat at La Flambee and I think you will be very happy.

Thank you very much for your opinion, happy that you have had a good time with us and in the restaurant "la Flambée". As for the heating, we will pay more attention, but know that it is always on the winter ... See you soon!

we came this weekend, and the receptionist speaks a little English and did not understand was what we asked. We had a room with cobwebs to curtains, with the smell of cigarette, very cold pool and could not swim. Sounds of trains and cars. No wifi.First and last time , this hotel is very expensive because the quality is not at the appointment

This motel reminds us of a campanile in a lot of ways; simple rooms that are nice and clean but not much else. We persuaded the manager to open the pool for us but it wasn't clean. Overall the room was fine and a good, standard French breakfast the next morning.

We arrived at the La Mirandole at 5.00pm on Sunday 3rd February after a long day driving from Tarragona Spain (Hotel SB Express - see separate review). First of all we couldn't get in - no one on reception had to use automatic check-in but it wouldn't a accept our Internet booking details. Was just about to leave when a man turned up (on hind sight we wished we had left!). First of all the hotel looks quite nice from the front but as soon as you go in you realise it's old and dated which is not necessarily a problem but it was also dirty, again we should have walked away then but by this time we were really tired so we stayed with it. We then made our way round to the back of the hotel. There is a central courtyard with the rooms set around it "motel style" this is good as it means you park right outside your room. We had Room 16 in the corner. The room was absolutely awful! Small, dark, old fashioned and smelt badly of stale cigarette's. Carpets tiles on the floor which were worn and dirty. Terrible decor striped wallpaper badly in need of redecorating, picture on wall which was a jigsaw made up! Old net curtain on window no curtain on that window and a broken dirty blind on small window by bed. Light switches had dirty finger marks all round them. All of the furniture including the bed should have been skipped 20 years ago. The bathroom was tiny and again in need of complete refit. The sheets were clean (absolutely amazed by this!) but the blankets and bed cover had dodgy marks on them and worn. We took off all bedding and bought in our own from car. Towels threadbare. Light next to bed not working. We decided to stay to get some much needed rest but left at 4.00am the next morning because we couldn't stand it any longer. How given a rating of 1 but don't think it even deserves this.
