The sheet had blood stains and my room was next to an industrial AC which was extremely loud. The day staff at the front were nice and articulate, knew the city and places of interest, but the housekeeping staff were terrible, the evening local brew tasting was excellent and the restaurant was amazing.

Good location, lovely lobby, free beer, and fun rock decor. I wanted to like this hotel but the room I had was really not up to standard and made the stay unpleasant. I purchased my stay through Hotwire but I was given a room with windows that faced the alley. The windows were partially blacked out (perhaps because it was so...

A room was very clean and nice to stay here. Especially, Happy Hour service is cool!! I would like to stay at Hotel Max when I come back to Seattle. Also, I would like to recommend Hotel Max to my friends who will plan to visit Seattle in the future.

Although my experience was enjoyable. I am a larger gentleman, so it was a little tight in the bathroom and shower. There was also construction occurring on the street in the middle of the night, so it was difficult to sleep at some points.

Hi there, Thank you for staying at the Max. My apologies the noise from road paving disrupted your sleep. Stewart Street is now completely paved . We would be thrilled to welcome you back in the future!

I really dislike this place. I've stayed here 4 times in the past 4 years. Each visit has invoked problems I've had to bring up to management's attention. Be aware; that doesn't seem to do much for you.... (If I didn't have to come to Seattle on business and if Hotel Max didn't give us a corporate rate, I wouldn't...

Everything was spectacular. I liked the rocket theme, it felt like a boutique hard rock hotel. The ONLY negative comment would be the housekeeping cleaning cloth I found left in the bathroom sink. Besides that, everything was clean, nice, and welcoming.

The room did not look like the pics online. It was as if there was some photoshopping going on after the fact. The bathroom is extremely cramped for anyone over 6 foot tall. There is a step up to get into the bathroom and once inside, your head graves the ceiling the entire time. Try using the toilet and the...

Hi F6934BXjoshw, Thank you for staying with us at the Max. I am sorry to hear your stay was less than satisfactory. Our website depicts actual pictures of our room types along with the square footage. The Max is a unique art and music inspired hotel built in the 1920's.

The location was basically the center of city, with very friendly staff and great restaurant. However the room was a motel style, with extremely small washroom and too noisy air conditioning that you can't keep it on during the night.

After a day of driving all over the area as a participant in the 2017 LYS Yarn Crawl, Seattle was the perfect stay over destination for my two day adventure. Hotel Max was referred to me as an excellent hotel..so I tried it. Was nothing but pleased from the street side valet, to the lobby party going on, one of...

Cool hotel. Rooms are nice. Obligatory hipster art. Poor sound isolation between adjacent rooms--next room over was watching "Law and Order" at 3am. Thoughtfully, hotel provides earplugs. Friendly but glacially slow staff. It took 15 minutes for them to check out 3 guests as they engaged each one in long conversations about their weekend plans, seemingly oblivious to the line...
