A shining start of a Hampton!

I was in town for a conference downtown but wanted to stay out of the fray and ensure secure parking. This is a wonderful choice for both!

All of the front desk staff were outstanding, with Tamira standing out as a gem! My partner arrived before I did and she ensured she was taken care of before I arrived.

I'd booked a balcony room--which all do face I-5 and which can be noisy (though only with the balcony door open) and I'd book the same again. It was nice to watch the sunset or just get 'outside' right from thee room.

Parking, as the whole hotel is, was quite secure and requited your key--just as the elevators did to get to your room. This was very much appreciated, though I will point out that the area this hotel is in felt and appeared quite safe.

The Northgate light rail station is a very short walk away and whisks you into the heart of Seattle in less than 15 minutes.

I booked one night at this property using my Hilton rewards points. This is a nice and clean newer property. I was initially given a fairly basic small room next to the very noisy I5 interstate. I asked if I could be moved to the quiet side of the hotel and the reception desk moved me to a suite on the quiet side of the hotel. I don't think I would've slept very well had I remained on the I5 side of the hotel. The parking is $16/night which I knew ahead of time but needs to be factored into your decision ahead of time.

The Northgate Hampton is an outstanding hotel, particularly in comparison with other hotels in the Hampton brand, both in Seattle and elsewhere in the country. I booked a king suite that was spacious, clean, and more than sufficient. The underground parking garage was great (it is $16 per day), particularly since there was a snowstorm while I was there. It made it easy to get in and out when I needed. The location is convenient to the interstate, but also when needing to cross the highway to shop, for food, etc. There had been a small, minor misunderstanding, likely solely on my end, regarding when housekeeping was due to arrive. As a heads up, housekeeping is not daily and is scheduled at check in. I thought it was scheduled one day, and on that day, I checked with the front desk to discover it was two days later. This day happened to be after a snowstorm passed through Seattle, and I ended up not getting housekeeping service. It could have been that they came while I was asleep and didn't return later or weren't able to make it because of the snow. Either way, it was understandable and not a problem. The front desk was especially helpful when I had little things pop up, like a glitch with my TV remote or issue with the toilet or needing a late checkout. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Hampton at Northgate in Seattle. They are willing to help, the location is convenient and the hotel is very well maintained. I will be back! Thank you and Happy New Year!

This is a nice hotel with a very friendly front desk. The King Room is large with desk, comfortable chaise lounge with movable chair and writing desk, dresser, microwave, refrigerator. The king bed was very comfortable with fluffy white bedding, Charging stations with USB and outlets are located on every lamp and 2 sets of outlets on the dresser. TV is 40" Samsung. Bathroom has very large glass enclosed shower and ample room on bathroom vanity and ledge. Bathroom does not have ventilation fan or heater. I did not see a room safe.
I highly recommend this hotel. I did not utilize the pool or fitness room

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting my daughter and enjoyed our stay at this Hampton. This was our first trip since the Covid 19 procedures were put into place and the hotel did a great job of alerting you to the fact that masks are needed at all times. There was no housekeeping during our stay so we had to call downstairs for more towels or toilet paper. The breakfast was bag and go which was okay considering we really enjoyed the hot breakfast that is normal during the non covid times. The King suite room was very large and comfortable it was quiet since we were on the opposite side facing the freeway, the mall next door is virtually closed with only a handful of stores and restaurants open. The best part of the Hampton was the Girl behind the desk, she answered all our calls for housekeeping, made the breakfast, made the coffee, extended our checkout time and was a perfect host and face of this hotel...she really was wonderful Kudos to you: "Sahar". She made our stay Perfect.

We have stayed at a lot of Hampton In and Suites but this was the best! It was super close and a convenient drive to the Woodland Park Zoo—our destination in the morning.

The King Suite was perfect with a roll-away bed so our 12 and 13 year-olds each had a place to sleep of their own. Everyone slept great and the room was nice and big. The bed was a little hard for my husband but I slept great. I thought it was one of the best hotel beds ever. It was hot while we were there but the room stayed very comfortable with the cooling system.

We didn’t use them this trip but the pool and exercise room looked very nice.

Breakfast was very tasty and they had a nice system of cards on tables to make sure you could find a clean table. All hot and cold items seemed to be available for the self-serve buffet.

Everything I saw was very clean and Covid protocols were clearly marked.

Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful at checkin and checkout. We will definitely stay again when we return to Seattle.

Easy access to the UW area as well as Greenlake for visiting family and recreational activities. We were very happy with the service and rooms at this location. Once the light rail is completed this will be very convenient location from the airport f you aren't need to rent a car. However if you have a car the location is easy to access from the freeway though we did not hear any street/freeway noise from our room.

Staying here during a pandemic was a bit different. Housekeeping did not service during our stay, but if we needed anything we just had to ask. The hot breakfast was replaced by a grab n go breakfast provided cordially by reception. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. Only points off for the worn towels. We hope to return under normal circumstances!

They don't tell you when you check in that you'll need to make your own bed, empty your own trash, change your towels, and replace your own amenities. If you need your carpet vacummed, it's also "do it yourself". They claim it's for your "health", but in reality they don't want to pay their housekeepers a livable wage, but they still charge a premium rate.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Northgate Station which has the Link Line Rail, and buses. Hampton provides free hot breakfast usually make your own waffles, some type of eggs, pork sausage or bacon, and sometimes potatoes, hot oatmeal, bread, bagels, little pastries, juices, and some fresh food, free local phone calls, and free internet. It too several days for the air conditioning to be right for me, and to get the little refrigerator to work right. My room was very quiet. You will need to request to have your room made up . There is a fitness room, and a swimming pool on the main floor. Also, a business center, and coin operated laundry room. I was very impressed with the level of Customer Service that Sonya at the front desk provided to me. If you need a ride within a 3 mile radius , free van service is provided. Guests can walk nearby to the Kraken training center where there is a Starbucks, and a burger, and beer restaurant or they can find other restaurants at the former Northgate mall location or even closer to the hotel by the Regal theatre. In cause you want to watch NBC , it is not available at the hotel as there is no contract now with the hotel’s provider now Direct TV. If you have the app on your cell phone, computer or tablet that is a Comcast Direct app, you can watch NBC shows on them. Masks are required to wear all over the hotel except when you are eating and drinking. Do not forget when you leave the hotel to eat, drink, work out at a gym or even go to a movie theatre, that proof of a Covid vaccination card is required to enter those establishments. You can use your Covid Vaccination card or show a pic of it on your cellphone.

The hotel does not have a shuttle to Pier 91 but, you can prearrange transportation with Seattle Shuttle Express, Capital Aeroporter, Uber, Lyft, and Wingz which lets you book far in advance. Also, you can take the train near the hotel, and get off downtown, and take a taxi.
