We were visiting our daughter who lives in downtown Seattle, this location was convenient to everything we needed, and the price was reasonable. When I started to look for accommodations in the area most places I was comfortable staying in were at least 100.00 more per night. Having free breakfast saved us at least 50.00 each morning and the options were varied, not the same thing each morning. The room was comfortable for the three of us traveling and staying 6 nights. The bed was a bit harder than we are used to, but sometimes those overly fluffy pillow tops make it hard for me to sleep. Parking is available at 25.00 which is about the going rate around, there is a pay lot right next door that was cheaper, but we worried it wasn’t as safe as the garage parking offered. Keep in mind like everywhere in the world right now there is a labor shortage so they informed us housekeeping was by request or at check out. This isn’t a problem for us as we prefer no one enter our room while we are staying. We had no problem grabbing extra towels etc in the morning from the housekeeping cart, and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Garage parking is tight spaces as expected. We will probably stay here again as it was a good value and convenient. I will say you hear the highway noise at all times day or night, but it’s a city so that’s to be expected. We were on the 2nd floor so we did not have a view and this may have contributed to the highway noise. We did not do much walking this trip, but I would have felt comfortable walking during daylight hours, definitely not comfortable at night.

Basically not exactly flawless but they do give you a homely feel. You get a room which was decent size for under 100usd during festive season. The rooms are indeed dated even the hallways of the lobby as well but they were well maintained and the hotel has tried to renovate it to the most up to date feel as possible

A very nice gesture was the would leave breakfast near the lift lobby. Unsure if other floors have the same but mine came with cereals, cereal bars, fruits, bagel, muffins, milk and juices. And during NYE, they even offered crisps and they were tasting really great

Breakkie was standard I did not go daily but extremely decent as well I must say, alternate days of bacon turkey or sausages.

Sleep quality was very good despite renovations going on at some floors, I hardly had any disturbance despite being the first unit next to the lift. Initially I asked for and will always asked for units very far from the lift lobby, but they gavei me one next to the lift. However I hardly hear anything or get disturbed except for the Vietnamese cleaning lady who kept trying to open my doors when I told her give me another hour.

Location is close by city centre, I would say on the fringe. You could walk to 5th saks avenue or even the pike place market maximum 20mins walk, so don't hesitate if you wanna book this place except parking wad cut throat.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in late June. We were very impressed by our stay. The bed had a very soft and comfortable comforter. The pillows are soft, but I personally prefer my pillows to have more neck support. The toiletries are from Paul Mitchell (according to my partner, this is a high quality product.). The room was pretty quiet and spacious. The lobby is very inviting. There is cool water available and coffee in the AM. The morning breakfast offers scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon (depending on the day) and other continental breakfast items. There is a full bar with reasonably priced drinks. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They offer suggestions on what to see and how to get there. There is guest laundry available for $2.00 per load. ($1.00 for washer & $1,00 for dryer).
In terms of location, it is perfect. It was about 20-25 minute drive from Seattle-Tacoma airport. We were walking distance (less than 1.5 miles) from the Space Needle, Waterfront Park, and Pike's Market. If you do not mind walking, you can save yourself the hassle/cost of parking. If you have trouble walking, there are plenty of electronic scooters around (those are super fun!) We were able to walk to all of those attractions as well as various restaurants, bars, and coffee shops.
If I had to nitpick:
The elevators are a little slow
The pillows are not very supportive of the neck
Two of the dryers were not working (Guest laundry)

The rooms and breakfast are decent, but housekeeping services are non-existent. Stayed for 11 nights. Had 7 more nights booked, but cancelled and moved to another hotel. The room was 'freshened' after 7 nights. This meant that someone else (not the guest) emptied the trash and changed the towels. Requested clean sheets after 6 nights and was told that this was scheduled for tomorrow (day 7). No clean sheets. Asked again the following night. No response from housekeeping (day 8), but front desk offered clean sheets and said that I was welcome to change them myself. Asked again. Request was noted. No response (day 9). Was finally told by front desk that sheets are only changed when rooms are vacated. Didn't matter how long you were staying, and if you wanted clean sheets, you should change them yourself. Checked out and moved to another nearby hotel. Bed at the new hotel has been made daily. Fresh towels daily. SpringHill Suites is fine if you are only staying a night or two and don't care if the room isn't made up, trash isn't emptied, don't need clean towels, etc., but Marriott status means nothing at this location, and they certainly do not value long-stay guests.

Service was friendly. Breakfast help was some of the most efficient I have ever seen. They kept all the breakfast foods very well stocked, turned tables fast to that there was a place to sit down, and kept the coffee flowing. Rooms and public areas were clean. My only complaint is that they are not still not cleaning rooms daily, only after you stay for 7 days or more. You can ask for anything to be replenished (soap, towels, etc) at the front desk and they will give them to you. Did not use the workout room or the bar. Shower water pressure is a 6.5/10. Parking is $25/day. Very easy access to the freeway.

We stayed here for two nights. It was a wonderful stay. You pay for parking but I love that you have in and out privileges. It made it super convenient. The room was really spacious and comfortable. Beds were super comfortable. There is a mini kitchenette with a sink, fridge, and microwave. I loved that the shower and toilet were separate from the vanity area. The shower has full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers which is great when you have four people staying in the room. The front desk staff was amazing! They were so friendly and helpful. I loved that they gave us restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was really good. Good variety of hot (eggs, pancakes or french toast sticks - depends on day, pork sausage, and turkey sausage), cold items and bakery/danish, and even some grab and go. I would definitely recommend.

The hotel it self is near many transportation stops that it’s easy to hop on the bus and take in the city and near some decent restaurant. They have a laundry facility that although looks dated still works well enough. Breakfast is one egg, a sausage patty and 4oz juice or 3 French toast sticks a susage patty and 4oz juice (don’t expect anything bigger). The room was as clean as it was going to be. There was a stain on the furniture but It wouldn’t come off. Do to COVID there was no one to service rooms or get fresh towels so don’t expect it. I wasn’t to bothered because you can get fresh sheets and towels at the front desk. Unfortunately that’s were I had my problem the front desk for the most part are rude. I felt uncomfortable coming to them for my concerns. I understand that they have lots to do but they looked annoyed anytime they need to give me the breakfast meals or get me change for the laundry or for my towels. Also check out is at 12 but their house keeping don’t know that apparently because they kept knocking at my door to see if I left. Like I know check out is at 12 I saw it on the website I get it but she was ready to kick me out at 10:30 then again at 11:30 I’m like thank god I wasn’t changing but she was fully ready to open the door. Needless to say it doesn’t hurt to be kind and since I didn’t get that feelings from this place I don’t think I will stay here again.

We stayed here 3 different times over a 2 week period, incl the night before a cruise from Port 91. 1.3 miles from port, $20 taxi.

Suites are HUGE, full HOT breakfast incl bagels, gym, walk to Pikes market. Pizza, Subway & Whole Foods within walking distance.

We needed an early check in for a sick family member & they accommodated us.

Self parking was $25 per night, MUCH cheaper than $40-$50 at other hotels. Free SHOWTIME.

Room layout was nice. Breakfast food was always cold. Coffee area was congested and often ran out of coffee. In-room coffee was limited to one cup. You had to track down the maid to request more. Same with insufficient number of bathroom towels, especially considering the shower leaked requiring us to use a towel to soak up the water on the floor. Parking garage is expensive but located conveniently to the guest room making it easy to move your stuff in/out. Internet worked well.

I would highly recommend Sprinhill suites by Marriott if you ever visit Seattle. First of all they have a great location close to all main attractions basically walking distance, even ti downtown. Second of all breakfast is included, delicious. Staff is very friendly but most important rooms are amazing, very clean. I was very happy with our stay there. When we visit Seattle again definitely we are going to stay at Springhill suites by Marriott.

How can 5 of us get from hotel to pier 1?
Answer from reggierail
Oceano14 contributions20 helpful votes
There is a service available at the hotel you can use. There are also taxi companies that could provide enhanced transfer service. The hotel should also be able to assist you with this. Another option would be to rent a car. You could use the vehicle to sightsee and drop off bags and most in your party at the pier and drop off vehicle and many companies will then drop you off at the pier.

The hotel will allow you to occupy your room as soon as it is available. The hotel will hold your bags either before or after your stay.
