Place looks great, especially online. Room lacked basic amenities like a dresser, fridge, microwave... Not even full compliment of most basic television channels. Walls are paper thin so you feel like you're staying in a loud hostel rather than a nice hotel in a thriving business & university district. Mattress was of very low quality, esp. for price and pretense...

Hello hardave, Thank you for taking the time to review you recent visit to the hotel. Clearly we did not live up to your expectations. I do have to disagree that we are more like a loud hostel than a nice hotel. Considering we have high thread count sheets and towels, luxury bath amenities, plush mattresses and furnishings, and an...

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, funky art deco renovation of an older hotel, great value. VERY comfortable king bed. 10 minutes from downtown or Pike Place Market and other attractions. Some of the furnishings are a little worn, but overall, it's a lovely hotel. If you don't need high-end brand new (and sometimes boring) furniture and finishings, this is a...

I rarely write reviews, but here I go! I recently stayed at Deca with my partner, and we had a more than splendid time. Not only was it wonderful to visit Seattle (for the first time), but our stay at Deca was impeccable. We came to WA with only a few things planned..not to worry, the front desk staff, Tess,...

this is a classic hotel near the campus - the decorations are modern with a nod to Art Deco. Ask for a room away from the elevator door and away from the ice machine unless you like noise. The higher floor rooms have better views.

This is the first hotel at any price level that I have seen with absolutely no storage furniture. That is a real inconvenience for an extended stay. The housekeeping was just plain terrible. Surfaces with visible dirt were left uncleaned and the carpeting was obviously not vacuumed. Every day found us left without some supply item such as coffee, toilet...

I am in the middle of an 8 day stay at the Deca. There is some good stuff here and some areas of concern. The good - the location, the friendly staff, the living space and the view of Rainier The areas of concern - extremely thin walls. The first night we were woken at 5am by a crying baby...

We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend and we were very impressed with Deca. Loved the fact that is was not your run of the mill chain, but had some character. Location was good as we were visiting a friend a couple miles from there. Easy hotel to find and lots of interesting places to visit and eat in the area since...

Upon entering the Hotel you are in a contemporary lobby, greeted by well trained front desk staff. I was given a lovely room with a view of the space needle. There was a small refrigerator and microwave in the closet. As mentioned in previous reviews, the bathroom is extremely small, that is true. What was more the issue for me,...

Hello Ann B, Thank you for your review. I am glad you found the room lovely and enjoyed the view. Where do I start... The bathroom was tiny (about 6x6), it had no fan or heat so it got stuffy, steamy, and it smelled musty.
