Homewood Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown receives praise for its convenient location near Seattle's top attractions, such as the Space Needle and Pike's Market. Many guests appreciate the spacious and well-equipped rooms, as well as the variety of breakfast options available. Stayed here while our house was being prepped and listed for sale. The room's kitchen and bathroom separated the bedroom and living room which was helpful for us both to telework while there. Internet speed was very good, lots of USB and electrical plug ins for all our devices. Our garbage/recycling was picked up daily by placing your bins outside your room. The staff doing everything they can during Covid to keep us safe and clean. The rooms are very quiet, which surprised me given the location. One issue with dogs, is that there are alot of foxtails near the hotel which are dangerous. Not the hotel's fault but it adds some worry to the frequent dog breaks I needed to do. The bay view was nice. Also liked the overhead walkway to the waterfront that's walking distance from the hotel.

Hi Lizs753, I'm so glad your family enjoyed your stay at the property, our spacious suites make it more comfortable, so I'm glad you both were able to work on your own assignments in the same suite. We're always looking for ways to make stays more enjoyable, thanks for your understanding during this unprecedented time. Fun fact to learn about foxtails! I'll have to ask our landscaper if there are any along our property line! Thanks for staying with us during your seattle trip, we hope to see you back on property in the future.

We travelled in June, 2021, during the hottest temperatures Seattle has seen in decades. Yes, the air conditioner worked, and was able to keep our unit cool. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. For a family of five (2 adults, 3 full grown teens), this was wonderful! We arrived in the middle of the night after a long flight and a lot of time wasted trying to get a taxi, so we were 'done'. The front desk lady was so pleasant and helpful! Breakfasts were served by a hotel employee (Rosibel-she is awesome!!!) each morning and included hot and cold choices, and they were not 'stingy' with the servings. We ate in our room at that time, but I believe that will be changing in July. There was a good variety of choices and was sufficient to get the day started. The hotel is about a block and a half from the shoreline, and a 30 minute or less walk to most downtown attractions in Seattle. It was quiet at night and well lit if coming in late.
A few negatives: we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The only trashcan in the unit was the tiny bathroom trashcan. Now, I am all for recycling, but when you have to eat breakfast in the room, and there are multiple members staying in the room, the trash fills up quick. We ended up getting a trash bag from the front desk, leaving it on the floor (walking around it) and changing it out every couple days. It would have been so much more convenient to have a full size trash can in the kitchenette and some extra trash sacks on hand. Also, there was no dish soap or dishwasher soap provided. Kind of a hassle in a kitchenette. We did see some cobwebs on the ceiling, and the tub was stained but clean. Beds-they were not 'plush' mattresses. Just basic, get the job done beds. The blankets they use were beyond annoying-they use the duvets with the fitted sides. These look great made up, but they don't sleep well. Pillows were decent, and they put several different ones on each bed. There was a tv in each room of our unit, which was nice. Also a small table to eat on, and a desk like table in the main bedroom.
Overall, if you are looking for a modern, super clean, updated hotel, this is not the one! If you are ok with a clean but slightly dingy bed covering, scratched furniture, and a great price, this is your place!!! We felt like, as a family of five, the price was right and we didn't have to pay for two separate hotel units. It was sufficiently clean, spacious, and a great location.

Stayed here on 2 separate dates for surgery and post op appts. The main reason I like this place so much is they have a park and stay package which makes parking less than $20 per night compared to other downtown locations of $30 or more. The parking garage was easy to get in and out of which we really appreciated because we stayed in another Hilton downtown Pike st. and once we were lucky enough to find a tight spot we didn't dare go anywhere or we were afraid we couldn't get another spot. We also appreciate the 2 Queen suite with a separate bedroom. It was great to have extra space for a family of 4. My only complaint is the living room has no window and feels dark and one of the elevators was broken so it took a while to use them. We appreciated the grab and go breakfasts even though they weren't customizable it was better than no breakfast.

First the positives. The room was a good size and seemed well maintained. The lobby was nice and even offered foosball which I played with one of my daughters. The breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about none of us enjoyed the eggs out of a jug, it just makes bad eggs.

Our room was located facing Elliot Ave and the bedroom was LOUD, if you were outside of the bedroom and closed the bedroom door it was nice and quiet, but trying to sleep was not a great experience. The rooms should really be flipped to have the living space on the outside wall and the bedroom on the inside so that it is actually quiet enough to sleep.

The garage parking is expensive and is a pain if you have a pickup, they only have a select few spots that will accommodate a pickup and even with our stock F150 Lariat we could barely fit into the garage parking at all, their entry signs would rub across our room even though we were below the clearance. Then small compact cars would take the larger spots where you can actually fit a pickup in their garage.

In short, I'd look elsewhere for quieter accommodations and less hassle parking.

We have stayed here for 8 nights and enjoyed it very much. It felt very homely and comfortable. All the staff were always very pleasant, friendly and professional and always went above and beyond with any request. The location is great and only 10 minutes walk to Seattle Centre which has a fantastic playground and our child also loved playing at the international fountain with the local kids which was lots of fun. This is also where you will find the excellent Museum of Pop, Chihuly Gardens, Space Needle, Science centre etc and the monorail. There’s also a Safeway supermarket nearby and excellent restaurants. The Queen Anne Beer Hall next to the hotel has fabulous food and is very family/pet friendly as well as Cafe Mecca and Buckley’s. The hotel is also very pet friendly and they really cater well for families. There a fuse ball table in the lounge and they have a well stocked coffee/tea/water station near reception. Every afternoon there’s fresh baked cookies. The hot breakfast has plenty of options and they also have a drinks/food reception every Wednesday evening. There is also a small shop in reception for essentials. We also booked a very reasonably priced airport transfer with the hotel and they also do shuttles to the nearby cruise terminal. We booked a larger room with two queen beds which was very spacious with a convenient kitchen, which we didn’t use but it was nice to have the option. There’s also guest laundry available near the fitness centre which was helpful. The surrounding area around the hotel in Queen Anne is also very nice and peaceful compared to other parts of town. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here a few times previously. A pro for this location is good sized suites & they also have 2 bedroom suites available. Just a one night stay at this time. Warm friendly greeting at check in & a discount on parking was appreciated. The pull out sofa was great in the good sized living room. The bedroom was large with a view of the pier & sound. The only odd thing was there was no sanitation seal on the door of the room. The seal should be used consistently if advertised as a safety protocol.

I booked this stay for my parent's recent trip to Seattle. It's been a very long time since my parents came back to the PNW due to health problems and of course, Covid19. I emailed the hotel about a week in advance of their arrival to ask for a special welcome card to welcome them back to my new home.

Thankfully the hotel has a loading zone in front for anyone getting dropped off /picked up so dropping off bags was easy peasy. Check in was seamless! No line, and we received our room keys in a matter of minutes! There are also fresh baked cookies across the lobby from the service counter, which I believe are served nightly.

We were welcomed into the room with a handwritten welcome card for my parents, and the room was neat and clean with plenty of amenities for anyone that has a long trip. Glass stovetop, nice sized refrigerator, cooking utensils, and even a toaster! The room itself had plenty of space in the living room, and even a door for the bedroom. My parents were delighted to have such spacious quarters for the next few days.

Hot morning breakfast is currently being served at this location, so that was a HUGE plus, and definitely one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. The location of the hotel is great for "downtown". As someone that lives here I would say it's realistically 1 block from Belltown and a few blocks away from the Seattle Center (Space Needle), so it's perfect for travelers looking for some peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The hotel is also extremely close to the pier, and one of my favorite restaurants Aqua by El Gaucho. We had a dinner there for my parents, and my father was astonished at how quickly we were able to arrive back to the hotel.

Overall, the stay was great, many thanks to the staff at the Homewood Suites. The next time my parents decide to visit, I will definitely book them back at the hotel. The only thing I missed they had (which I understand why it isn't available) is the evening social. I hope the next time we're there, it will be back!

Our2 room suite with 2 queen beds on the 3rd floor was comfortable and equipped with a 2 burner stove, microwave and refrigerator. The furniture was not new, but comfortable. Breakfast which had a good variety (waffles, eggs, cereal, fruit and pastries) was good.

The front desk was friendly and helpful.

We walked from the hotel to the MoPop museum and back. There were several steep blocks going to the museum, but otherwise it was an easy walk.

The hotel also offered a shuttle to the cruise port for $7 pp which was very convenient.

I really enjoyed staying here with my family. It is centrally located and is a good size suite for my family of 5. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchenette - even the refrigerator is bigger than other places I’ve stayed at (nearly a full size fridge)! They offer Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf coffee and teas in the room (my favorite!). Staff is friendly, breakfast is good, and I enjoyed the cookies in the lobby in the afternoon. I also liked that there was coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available 24 hours in the lobby. Parking spaces were small, but we there were a couple handicap spaces that were available for us to use.

This place is close to a bridge that crosses over to the park near the water, which has a great path for my morning runs!
