I have stayed at several Moxy hotels now and have been happy with all of them. Seattle was no different.

The neighborhood is apparently dominated by Amazon and/or Google, so it’s very millennial and hip. Everyone inside the lobby was working on numerous tech devices at the same time.

There is no parking - no valet and no lot. But street parking was easy and there was a garage next door that had reasonable rates.

The room was great. Functional. Plenty of room for me while traveling solo. Everything was clean. Free coffee in the lobby all day is great. Staff was friendly.

The candy in the elevators was a unique and welcome touch.

I will continue to stay at this brand as long as they continue to consistently deliver. At 44 I am definitely on the older side of the clientele, but it’s always solid form people watching and the staff has never treated me differently.

Very cool decor, friendly in Westlake with many restaurtants within walking distance, great coffee places. Easy access to street and underground rail. I have meetings in Westlake so this is really convenient. Parking is offsite in an Amazon garage a block away, rates are what you expect in dt Seattle.

I’d give it 4 1/2 stars but settled on four because there is no 1/2 star. First time here, and it has a different vibe/feel than the typical Marriott. Friendly staff at check-in, used points, and although hotel has no real view, the front desk person made sure I wasn’t staring at an alleyway or rooftop air conditioner. Cool bar/lobby area. Bar tender friendly. Room small but lots of windows, and clean. Comfortable room and bed. Will stay here again. Nice location at South Lake Union area.

This was the second Moxy Hotel we have stayed in after the one in Chelsea NYC. The Seattle Moxy is great value for money and located in a great part of Seattle close to good food and coffee. Despite what other reviews have said, the check in is easy to find at the bar, there's ample signage to locate this. The staff we encountered during our stay were super friendly and helpful. The rooms are a decent size for the price, and would seem normal to Australian and European Tourists, but are smaller than your standard american chain hotels. Love the incorporation of Netflix and streaming services. The Wi-Fi is super fast as well. Highly recommend the Moxy in Seattle.

Centrally located in South Lake Union, this is a great property with the basics you need for a quick stay with an awesome lobby bar. Contactless check-in and digital key available, rooms also come with sanitizer wipes. There are functional hooks along the main room wall to hang your coat, clothes, backpack, etc. Great rate, great location, super friendly safe. This is one of my new favs in the area!

I would have rather stayed at a Motel Six. No closets, no lotion/moisturizer, no room service, no cups for water. Room was cramped and we paid extra for a “city view” only to stare directly into the office building within the same block. If you can’t offer a view, cool, but don’t charge me extra for something that doesn’t exist. The best part was the “pet friendly” policy that charged $50 extra yet couldn’t even offer a water dish. When I went back down to the front desk to ask for a water bowl and cups for my gf and I, the best they could give me for my dog was a giant mixing bowl. I’m not high maintenance, I grew up poor, this place is just a rip off.

This hotel does not live up to a Marriot experience. There are no closets in the rooms. There are no hangers. There are no drawers. There are no real surfaces such as a desk or shelf. There are three wooden triangles with leather straps that are on large hooks attached to a wood strip on the wall with TV. This is very high. I am not tall. The hooks for leathers straps are fixed and cannot be moved. Two of them are positioned over the TV. When I called the front desk for hangers and to ask about a closet or luggage rack, I was told I could get more wooden triangles but not place to hang them additionally up very high There was a solid metal folded camping stool? That I was told I could put my luggage on. It was very heavy and up very high so I didn't want to risk injury getting it off the wall. There is no restaurant on property. There was a piece of rough wood maybe 24 x24 inches that also was attacked to the wall with leather straps that folded open - this was the only surface in hotel. Unusable for a work surface or basically anything else except to put my purse down on anything other than the floor. This was camping with a door. There were games in lobby area and a rustic bar but serving nothing of interest.

People in the Frontdesk attend you with an “attitude “: bartender girl and some of Frontdesk staff. One day they cleaned the room, the next day they didn’t and when I complained the manager in duty did not provide any solution, apology and actually was like … it just happened and she DID not care.
Beautiful lobby. Nice decoration
Rooms are very small, u can barely walk

I sometimes meet human friends here for drinks. They have free skittles anyone can have so i eat them. Sometimes the bartenders give me pieces of bacon too. Its all free if you keep drinking. When i'm tired of sitting at the bar I can relax on one of their sofas

I have stayed in multiple MOXY's across Europe in the past couple years. After having explained my stays to my wife, we decided to try out the MOXY in Seattle so she could experience the unique atmosphere.

Unfortunately, we stayed during COVID restrictions, which meant the Registration Desk / Bar did not serve drinks. None at all. I knew they would not have the fabulous German beers, but I expected the bar to be open. We walked to a couple of local watering holes for drinks instead.

The room was the same as the European counter-parts. Small and efficient.

There was no breakfast. Again, another disappointment.

I would suggest taking an Uber or Lyft from the airport to the hotel. Parking is limited. There is not a shuttle from the hotel to the outlet.
