Hyatt Regency Seattle receives high marks for its modern rooms, which guests find clean and equipped with contemporary amenities, often accompanied by impressive views. The atmosphere is frequently described as modern and comfortable, with a nod to the cleanliness that resonates throughout the property. Staff members at the hotel earn praise for their attentive and professional service. While the central location is a hit for its proximity to attractions, some guests find the food and parking prices to detract from the hotel's overall value. Despite a few hiccups with housekeeping and service frequency, the amenities, including a range of dining options, are popular among visitors.

My husband and I took a vacation to Seattle and stayed here at the Hyatt Regency. There really is nothing negative to say... Hotel is in a great location - close to restaurants both inside and outside the hotel, a short walk to the Light Rail and monorail, and great views of the city and Mt Rainier. It is very clean from the public areas and in the rooms. There are a few in-hotel options for food... we used the Marketplace as our stop for breakfast and tried out Andare for a to-go dinner in our room. Both are reasonably priced and have great food. There are also plenty of places to walk to or that will deliver to the hotel.

The room itself is well laid out with a very comfortable king size bed, plenty of room (for a downtown city hotel), and great view. Water bottles were included too. Wish there were a few more drawers to keep clothes, but it was not too bad. We also had a great view of Mt Rainier. We did not hit up the gym, but did peak in and it is large and has a good amount of equipment. Keep in mind, at least when we went, that room cleaning is every 4th day but you can adjust. We kept it as is, but sometimes the garbage can pile up a little with smaller bins but larger to-go containers and water bottles to recycle.

My only 'complaint' would be to Andare - you give the option to call in take-out or room service but then no one picks up the phone. We tried late one night (around 8:30) but when someone finally picked up after about 3 tries and 25 rings each, we were told they were too busy to do take-out. No problem - I get it and appreciate the honesty. We tried again on another night and no one picked up. Went downstairs to see if they were swamped, and it was not too bad. Was able to order to-go with the host, and food was ready in under an hour. The only nice thing about calling is being able to go downstairs only once to pick up rather than back and forth a few times.

We didn't get to do everything we planned, so definitely will be back and will use Hyatt Regency again.

Hyatt Regency has been open about a year. Beds are good, shower is hot and unlike most places, reading lights are bright and adjustable. Front desk staff - Amber and David - and concierge Jer know they stuff and respond graciously. Daniel's steak house is one of four with same outside management. Taylor and Kevin were fine, professional servers. We'd go back for the chili, bourbon/bbq meat balls and creb bisque. That and very good bread were enough for supper. Breakfast buffet was good but reportedly will take new form in a month or so. Back to the room: compact without being crowded. Furnishing were smart. Shower was wheel-chair accessible and had folddown teak/steel seat if needed. About easy 15 minute walk from Pike Street Market, Seattle Art Museum and galleries. We'll go back.

I loved my stay at the Hyatt Regency Seattle. The hotel has been opened for a year and the staff is so proud to work there. The guest rooms are nicely appointed and very comfortable.

The one thing to note is the housekeeping standard is every other day. This is the first hotel is Seattle to have this be their standard. Most hotels will come in every day unless you opt but at the Hyatt Regency you have to pay additional to have daily housekeeping. For most people it isn't a big deal but given it is a new rule it can surprise you as it is not an industry standard.

Excellent location.
Fantastic meeting space.
Delicious banquet food and creative presentation.

I can't wait to return Dec 2020.

The Hyatt Regency Seattle was a very good choice for my husband & I. I made the reservation through Hyatt's app and checked in early to advise of our earlier arrival. Our room was ready when we arrived. Front desk staff was very nice when we arrived. Our room rate also included parking so after checking in, we used our key card to access parking garage and then went to our rooms. We had a king bed room on the 15th floor. The room was very clean and nice....no complaints at all. I did go to the Market on the 2nd floor one morning for coffee and a muffin - everything was good and they were very friendly. I also used their fitness center and was very impressed with the equipment. There were treadmills, Peloton bikes, weight equipment, weights, and mats.
I was able to use their app to request more towels since we didn't get daily room cleaning for our three night stay. They were very timely in getting them to us after submitting the request. We especially loved the location because it gave us the ability to walk to a majority of the places that we wanted to go instead of having to pay for parking around downtown. We walked to the Space Needle, Pike Market, the Ferry and other surrounding places. Overall, we would definitely choose to stay here again.

The room was wonderful and very impressed. Staff was kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel provided 3 bottles of water everyday with Stabucks capsules for coffee machine in room. The market in the hotel is good with a little pricey. Easy to walk anywhere downtown. The 24 hrs gym is the best one.

Hyatt Regency Seattle is in a 10/10 walkable location and the rooms are comfortable.

Beyond that, I cannot fathom the high review scores. This was a one time stay, am evacuating for a more enjoyable known location to round out vacation week.

Like basics such as locking bathroom doors and a shower door? Nope.

This Hyatt opted to place no shower door (half glass panel), so freezing your arse off in the shower is a given. This move, I’d suggest, was to lower cost and maintenance.

And the barn shower sliding door doesn’t lock (security, anyone?), but as an added benefit it will smash your fingers to pieces until you figure out how to finesse its sorcery.

Beds are comfortable and the rooms are decent. They are nothing, and I repeat nothing special. They would be very much at home within even a modern Best Western or Clarion.

This is a bland property beset by odd cost cutting measures.

And don’t bring a car. Just don’t.

The staff is certain they are operating an unblemished palace, so enduring them is one reason this Hyatt is on the “avoid” list from now on.

I love writing rave reviews for clever, kitschy places which know their purpose and serve it well. Even two stars which are clean with local operators are fun to review.

And this Hyatt was, for us, a loud dog kennel. When unattended dogs were barking late night next door, Hyatt Seattle’s option was to be terribly rude to us rather than addressing the guest causing commotion (which bothered many guests.) I just wanted to sleep.

So Hyatt is okay with no brand standard with guests disturbing the hall.

This Hyatt Regency is a giant prison-theme exterior meh bore. Staff is disconnected from the guest experience. They didn’t think a shower door was useful for a generation which must be prepping for a polar bear plunge at all times.

And do not bring a car. Posted rates are a jumble of convoluted confusion.

There are better options in every direction.

I travel frequently and this hotel caught my attention in more ways than 1. I stayed here on business for one week and there was nothing that needed improvement! The staff was amazing, pleasant, friendly, professional and went above and beyond to help and make my stay the best that it was! My room was spotless, fairly large, had a refrigerator, keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee pods, free water bottles, nice size TV/flat screen, desk, 2 chairs and was very quiet! The beds were a bit on the soft side for me, but that is only a matter of preference. They clean the rooms every other day, which was fine with me and have a nice market with starbucks and hot food on the 2nd floor as well as a few restaurants and a beautiful, large gym that was fully stocked with towels, water, ear-phones and up to date equipment including cycling.
There was many things to do nearby within walking, lots of restaurants, the water about a 15 minute walk and the space-needle within walking as well. Highly recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed!

My wife and I stayed at this Hyatt for several nights during our first ever visit to Seattle. We chose Hyatt due to their reputation for excellent rooms, quality service and exceptional amenities. Our room was what you would expect from a Hyatt….clean and quiet. But sadly there were several items missing from what is typically a quality Hyatt experience. First there was no daily maid service. On several occasions we had to flag down a maid working on a checkout to get supplies. Upon arrival, not only was there no valet parking, but no one from the hotel was curbside to point us to registration. Upon checking with the registration desk, I was pointed to the parking garage. As with many city hotels, you have to pay to park. We were also confused about check in location since the main hotel entrance was locked off for some reason, and we weren’t even sure if we were entering in the right direction. Additionally, one of their primary restaurants is still closed. Considering the number of restaurants that were open in town, this was hard to understand. Some restrictions due to COVID are perhaps understandable, but we found this Hyatt just missed the mark. The staff just seemed to go through the motions.

The hotel is well located in Seattle with shopping centres and plenty of places to eat near by. Short walk to Pike Place and Pike Market, good location for stay if you work in tech sector as close to many tech HQ.

The rooms are well appointed and quite modern. However needs a little more work to accommodate international travellers with regard to things like power outlets, & room service. I needed to get adaptors as there was no provision in the rooms for anything other than US power points. The room service is quite limited for international travellers who are there just for business and don't have the time to leave the hotel for meals. While the Market is open 24 x 7 in the hotel their food choices are not great for people whose body clock is all turned around and might want a nice hot meal at odd hours.

The in room entertainment system was really good and it was easy for me to hook my laptop up to the large screen in the room which i do for video conferences.

The room was always kept clean and the hotel staff were really pleasant and accommodating. The stay was also great value for money, i will definitely stay there again it's just a few small things that i thought needed a tweak but that may just be me and my quirks.

The whisky bar on the second floor was a big plus for me.

Overall would definitely recommend the Hyatt Regency Seattle for convenience and nice modern rooms.

Thank you for your review and rating. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. While all of the outlets in the guestrooms are standard American outlets, for any of our guests who are traveling internationally, we can provide adapters upon request. Just request upon check-in or call down to the front desk and we can have them delivered to the guestroom. As for the Market feedback, was there anything in particular you would like to see on our late-night menu that is not currently there? We are always interested in feedback from our guests on how we could make their stay better. We hope you are able to come back and stay with us again soon. Hyatt Regency Seattle Team

We booked one night at the Hyatt Regency Seattle to start our Washington road trip (from Vancouver, BC) and we could not have been happier with our stay. The check in and check in staff were explemplary, we stayed on the 35 floor, the room was spotless and spacious, with a great view of the city / water. Good location, near to the Convention Centre and on the way to Capital Hill, about is about a ten minute walk to Pike Place Market.

Only down side was that the parking overnight was $40, which was a little to steep for us, so we used SpotHero (highly recommended) and found a garage three blocks away for $18.

As of today, the homeless situation around this hotel is very safe as they have front staff monitoring it 24/7. I drive through that area weekly to work. The Homeless are more near attractions of Westlake Park. Stay away from Pike Street area by Walgreens and Target as that is the main bus line area for their hang outs. With the new WA convention that opened across the street, it's been clear of homeless.
