I'm nearly at the end of a 10-day stay and it's been a great week and a half. The Renaissance Inn has a terrific staff; everyone has been so friendly and helpful and even when really busy, they pay attention to details and are willing to help. The lobby area is huge and wide open - lots of scattered seating...

Thank you for the great feedback about your long term stay at the Residence Inn. Have a great day!

Friendly staff, comfortable, clean room with nice view of Lake Union. Nice breakfast each morning. Could use a little updating but has a nice lived in feel and is a good value. Easy access to downtown and good public transportation right outside the door. Have stayed in other higher priced hotels in Seattle and would choose this one over the...

Thanks for your review of the Residence Inn on Lake Union! We aim to feel like a "home away from home" for our hotel guests, and it sounds from your review like we succeeded!

I stayed at this hotel on business while in Seattle. It looks like it is an older "Embassy Suites" hotel that has been bought and redone. It is in a great location to the downtown area with many restaurants nearby. The rooms were nice and the lobby was very clean and nice. I would definitely recommend this location.

Thank you for taking a moment to review the Residence Inn! We were in fact built as a Residence Inn but I am sure the builders were influenced by the open atrium lobby design found commonly in Embassy Suites hotels. Thanks for recommending us to the TA community!

We stayed here at the end of August for 2 nights. We were immediately impressed with the hotel, as when you walk into the lobby area it is very modern and fun. The room we had was a 1 bedroom with a pullout couch. The room also had a kitchen. It was very comfortable, but in order to use the...

We stayed here a couple of days prior to our cruise and were very satisfied with this property. The check in was quick and our room was a typical RI room. The location is nice across from lake union where you will find some nice restaurants. The rail picks up out front and will take you downtown for a small...

Without advising me of their policy, the Residence Inn charged my credit card with nearly $2K worth of pending charges during my stay. When I checked out they charged my card twice for the room charges. It has taken numerous calls to the hotel and the bank to get this matter resolved. I left messages for the general manager and...

Spent 6 nights here & it was great! The staff was so helpful & friendly. We celebrated our 20 wedding anniversary during our stay & a bottle of wine was delivered to our room as a gift. Highly recommend this place!

I travel frequently and I have to say this is the most spacious suite I've ever stayed in. The suite was clean. It is close to the road, so there was some street noise, but I slept well and I am typically a light sleeper. It definitely felt like a place I could live. There are several restaurants across the...

Four stars because the name is very misleading. This hotel is NOT downtown. It is walking distance to a gentrifying area with tech companies, new restaurants and stores. (must cross of major thoroughfare!) and walk 10 minutes. So, use Google maps before booking here. It is possible to stay here without a car and using public transportation, but it takes...

We stayed for 5 days because the reviews said it was convenient. The streetcar does go right by the hotel, but it doesn't go very far. Just means that you are taking a least 2 modes of transport to go anywhere. That was ok because we enjoyed staying near Lake Union. A little out of the way but also quieter....
