I’ve stayed here before and had a nice experience, but this time was much different. I actually live in Seattle, but needed a room this evening because of a carbon monoxide scare at my house and decided to stay here for one night while things cleared up at home (per fire dpt). Upon arrival, the room was not entirely clean and the towels had what appeared to be orange makeup stains on them. I let the front desk know and was unable to get another room. Ultimately, they did not provide or offer ANY accommodations for this unfortunate experience. It felt like a 2-star hotel experience with 5-star rates, which was extremely disappointing. 5/10 - front desk representatives/customer service 5/10 - cleanliness 10/10 - valet customer service

Stayed here the night before an overseas trip to UK, Croatia and Italy. Unfortunately my wife had an accident the day of our departure and we ended up in the ER / trip over. I called the hotel to see if we could stay another night and ask if they might have a wheelchair we could use. When we got back to the hotel there was a wheelchair and a get well card. Such kindness from all of the staff - and everyone we dealt with was so kind and competent. They turned a terrible day into something much more tolerable. Oh and by the way - the hotel itself was fantastic - best Seattle hotel we’ve stayed at in 30+ years of coming there. Great food in the hotel and the rooms and amenities are top notch.

First and foremost, we do hope your wife is on the road to recovery! Such an unfortunate occurrence! It's the least we could do for you and your wife under such circumstances. We are so pleased to know we were able to assist in your time of need and thank you for the acknowledgements for our kind staff. We hope you will be back when you get your trip rescheduled and again, thank you for the kind words.

It was great stay - the bed was comfortable, the amenities were good. Enjoyed the shower over bath and loved the le labo toiletries. The location is very central and I also enjoyed use of the pool facilities. My room was quiet which was great as well

One of the best experiences we have had at any hotel so far, the staff, the property, the ambience, the service, the amenities, everything literally the best. The staff were exceptionally hospitable, the reception staff were very quick, the food was so delicious. This our go to hotel for weekends from now on.

Hotel is beautiful and the staff were super nice but I had a lot of disappointments during my week stay. Like, if you want a fridge in your room, extra $15 charge. You are not allowed to get to-go from the onsite restaurant, even with limited evening dining option in the area. Cafe in the basement is extremely overpriced. Concierge was non-existent. The cherry on top was when checking out, we told the desk staff we were going to Vancouver next, she said it’s like Seattle but nicer. I don’t think I’ll be staying here again.

Our family has been returning to the Fairmont Olympic again and again over the last 20 years. They have the most courteous staff, a gorgeous lobby and bar/tea area, are in a perfect, walkable location in the city, and they are home to the very best hotel pool. They make it easy to either park your car or call a cab, so if you really must leave the iconic building, you are minutes from any Seattle destination.

The clerk at check-in was fantastic, even got an upgrade to a Junior King suite! Many local places to eat but there is no better place than The George for Octopus and Scallops, they were incredible, I would take a stroll to Elliotts for Oysters!!

My wife and I stayed at the Fairmont Olympic while in town for a concert and we were thoroughly impressed. We booked our stay through Amex and we were upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival. The hotel is also pet friendly, and the staff were all very sweet with our pup. We had the opportunity to grab dinner at Shuckers - which was fantastic - and breakfast at The George, also very good. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance from Pike Place, the waterfront, Pioneer Square and Westlake Center. While many areas in downtown Seattle have had recent challenges, the hotel is in one of the better areas and we never felt unsafe walking around, even late at night. We were only there for a quick stay, but we were impressed with the property, the facilities and the staff. We will definitely be back.

The Fairmont Olympic Hotel lived up to its reputation as a Fairmont hotel. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The bedding was luxurious and comfortable providing us with a restful night of sleep. The staff was accommodating and friendly. No request was too small! The fitness center was large with an array of equipment, a steam room, and changing and shower areas. Although we did not use the indoor pool or hot tub, it looked very nice and fun! The lobby area is iconic and worth a trip down to relax and have a snack or a cocktail. The central location made walking Seattle easy. It's minutes to Pike Place Market, the waterfront, the giant ferris wheel, the aquarium, downtown shopping, restaurants, and more. We will definitely stay here again!

From beginning to end, Fairmont, mastered the art of customer service. From the moment we landed early in the morning, they were trying to make it the best experience possible. They were understanding that we had just arrived on a redeye with three small children, and our kids were exhausted. They made every effort to get us settled as soon as possible. After we arrived, we were immediately made to feel special. They even had perfectly sized robes for our daughters. It was unbelievable. We’d go back to Seattle just to stay at the hotel. A few people we wanted to shout out were Danny and Curtis.

This is amazing and we appreciate you as our guest and will use your kind words to motivate our staff. We as hoteliers strive to make our guests feel exactly as you do every single day. Three tired children in tow makes us very empathetic and we could not be more pleased you were made to feel special and at home. We will pass along the kind words for Danny and Curtis!
