I have stayed at far too many hotels in Seattle and certainly wish I’d found this small, lovely Inn much sooner. The room I was in was remarkably spacious with a leather sofa plus a great sitting / reading chair. The bed, towels, Bose sound system and room details are what I’d

Out-of-town visitors asked us for a hotel recommendation, and we did not hesitate to recommend the Inn at El Gaucho. They stayed there for three nights, and we joined them for the last night, and every detail was just perfect. Absolutely everyone we encountered were unbelievably

What a wonderful location. They are remodeling/upgrading...but the atmosphere and staff (and comfy beds) are what bring us back...that and great location to one of our favorite dinner sites too. Would recommend this swanky little hotel !

Absolutely loved this place. It felt more like family than staying at a large place. I wouldn't hesitate to go back! Yes, you have 2 flights of stairs to go up but that is nothing compared to all the hills in the city.

We walked from the end of the line of the light rail to the Hotel, about 10 blocks (level). Light rail was very cheap and very nice. If you have luggage you might take a cab from the down town terminal.

It seems to be quite safe. There's a major bus line running on the street 2 blocks away, and lots of nice bars and restaurants on the street near the hotel. There are also lots of nice apartment buildings on the streets in this area. We never saw any dodgy characters in the area near the hotel, even after dark.
