Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
The Arctic Club Hotel garners applause for its immaculate cleanliness and accommodating staff who are lauded for their professionalism. While it boasts a historic charm and stylish atmosphere that guests adore, some visitors have raised concerns over the noise levels and the smaller room sizes. The central location is a hit for its convenience, yet the additional costs, particularly parking fees, have been a sore point for many. Despite the occasional critique of amenity variety, the comfortable rooms and delectable breakfast options are popular among guests.

Room was super clean and well taken care of. The beds were exceptionally cozy and I had a great night's sleep. The hotel is a fun experience with it's novel theme and there's a lot of history to explore (thanks to the front desk staff that showed me upstairs skylight ballroom). Overall, it was an exceptional value for a high quality hotel stay. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Hotel's Favourite
The location (smack within walking distance to ALL of Seattle's main downtown attractions) - T-Mobile Park & Lumen field are both just a few blocks away. Pier's, boat tours, aquarium is even closer and Market is less than 15 minutes away, again within walking distance, so no need to fight for parking, get your steps in. Now about the hotel. Truly AMAZING staff. Super friendly, accommodating and willing to sit or stand and chat, get to know you and offer great suggestions on your stay in Seattle. The room, ambiance and Polar Bar are all just very, very cool (no pun intended) but if you're into a little history, while you stay to relax, play or even work while in The Emerald City, THIS is the place to be. Sure chain hotels are good, but this little gem, you'll be impressed. They do a phenomenal job by taking care of the little things. Love the towel animals and personalized notes the team leaves each time we returned. Those little touches, just put smiles on our faces every day.

Great old school feeling of the building and decor. Felt like I was back in the 30s or so. Very comfortable with incredibly friendly service. Security measure for after hours preventing non guests from entering for any reason. Great location for a short walk to the stadiums or Pikes Place Market. Would caution late nights walks for those uncomfortable around homeless though as a number of them were across the way… NEVER in front of the building though. Easy access for the Link Rail system as well for airport routes.

I love the history and details of this hotel. It is very comfortable and charming. The staff were all very friendly, and the cleaning staff even showed me how she folded the towels to make the polar bear. Tasty breakfast and creative drinks in the Polar Bar. My only complaint was that they sell the used bathrobes from your room instead of new ones. They are very nice bathrobes but you should be able to get new ones for the price.

The doorknob at the front desk charged me twice for the security deposit ($100 bucks a night) thus hikacking my vacation money. The paying customers need to protest this practice it is a total scam. THe hotels just maie interest off money they are not owed.

I'm really sorry to hear about the frustration you experienced with the security deposit charges during your stay. Being charged twice is certainly not the norm and should not have happened. It's understandable how this could have significantly impacted your vacation plans and finances. It's important for hotels to handle such transactions transparently and accurately, ensuring trust and satisfaction among guests. Feedback like yours is vital for improving service and practices, ensuring that future stays are free from such issues. I hope this situation gets resolved swiftly and satisfactorily for you, and that it won't deter you from future travels.

Need better view from the room and more electrical outlets. I had to find outlet through to the room and no outlets around the desk and the room was very old school. The hotel lobby was very nice and had the bar and the breakfast was fine. .

Love this hotel because it is an experience ... not just somewhere to sleep. The history and ambience is so fun! You feel like you are stepping back in time. Walking distance to good restaurants, Seattle Waterfront and Lumen Field. Only draw back is to be cautious walking in the evening.

While the historic hotel has plenty of room and was walking distance to everything the block that it's sits on is surrounded by construction, a view of a trash pile and really expensive parking lots. The valet was the best option at $50 a night with a 20min wait to receive your car. But parking in the area was slim.

Thank you for sharing your experience at our historic hotel. We're glad to hear that our spacious rooms and convenient location added value to your stay. However, we understand the challenges presented by the surrounding construction, less-than-ideal views, and parking constraints. We appreciate your recognition of our valet service as the best parking option, despite the wait time and cost. Your feedback is invaluable as we continually strive to enhance our guests' experiences, and we will consider how we can better manage these external factors. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back, offering an even more comfortable and enjoyable visit.

I've seen the Arctic Club Hotel advertised before and always loved the aesthetic, but had never gotten a chance to stay here, and I'm so glad i finally took the chance and booked it! It was one of the quietest hotel stays I've had in a long time, and definitely one of the more beautiful. Also, the complimentary breakfast buffet was a lovely surprise -- so many hotels have moved away from this concept (or just do it really crappily), and it was a nice little unexpected bonus to our stay! I will absolutely be back!
