I came here for one night as I was attending a Kraken hockey game. Needed a place close to train station and not far from arena that was not $$$$. This was perfect. 10 minute walk for train station and it was a very clean and quiet hotel. Location is near services for homeless people so there are some gatherings near by but none near the hotel and being from Portland I felt this was much safer.

Hotel's Favourite
I stayed here upon my arrival to a week long vacation in Seattle and Mt Rainer. Hotel was nice, clean, friendly staff, and there are several attractions and restaurants within walking distance. I wanted to stay at this location again at the time of leaving on my trip, although they were booked solid and had no availability. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

This hotel was clean, nice, and close to everything. The breakfast was great, way more than a continental breakfast. I was alone, and I felt very safe. The atmosphere is cozy, more like a boutique hotel. It had a computer with internet in the lobby, which was nice. The staff was very friendly. I will visit here again.

The location was chosen because of it's location to Lumen field. I was VERY surprised for it to be as easy a walk as it was. Also, the restaurants and storefronts along the way were great. The homeless are definitely present, but not as overwhelming as in other big cities. The staff was very friendly, and quick to respond to our needs. The breakfast in the morning was limited, but fresh and good! The rooms were nice sized, VERY comfortable, and clean. The bathrooms was nice sized, the water hot, and had a tall shower head. The rest of the bathroom, sink & toliet were VERY low. Overall, a very very nice experience!

This location is great although a bit gritty as Seattle has problems with homelessness and drugs. We were I hasten to add never bothered by anyone. The staff in the hotel were always pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was well presented and the staff in the breakfast area worked hard at keeping items stocked and tables clean.

This BW is located in a beautiful historic building in Pioneer Square. We had a standard king room. It was a little on the small side, but was fine for us. Breakfast was typical for a hotel of this type and desk staff were helpful with questions that we had. The location was great, we walked to a Mariner’s game, Chinatown, and other attractions. The only difficulty was parking. Guests pay $30 to park at a garage about one block away. There were no parking spaces available for unloading in front of the hotel, so we had to carry our bags from the garage. I was given a code on my phone to allow us in and out of the garage, but it didn’t work. This wasn’t a problem for us, as we only stayed one night and walked everywhere we wanted to go in the area. The parking attendant said other people had also complained about the code not working. I informed the hotel about the issue, so it’s probably been fixed.…

Loved it. Was pleased with the location. Able to walk to the wharf, pike place, and various restaurants with ease. The rooms had great character and provided a pleasant vibe with the modern amenities. Breakfast was great and the staff was amazing. Hated having to leave.

Hotel is 103 years old but you would never know it. Staff were very helpful. Pioneer Square is close to everything. We used Lyft to explore the attractions easy pickup and drop of. Morning breakfast was just what we needed to start our day.

First time visiting Seattle for leisure. My first impression when entering the hotel was that it had a weird strong smell (caused by living near the waters/sea) however once I entered my room the smell was gone, the room was clean, my stay for 3 nights was with no problems. I liked that the hotel is located near several tourist attractions (Pier 54, Pike Place, The Space Needle, Lumen Field, The first Starbucks and more) overall my stay pleasant with no problems. Housekeeping did a good job with my room, replace towels, make the beds, take out trash.
