I stayed here upon my arrival to a week long vacation in Seattle and Mt Rainer. Hotel was nice, clean, friendly staff, and there are several attractions and restaurants within walking distance. I wanted to stay at this location again at the time of leaving on my trip, although they were booked solid and had no availability. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights before we departed Seattle for an Alaskan cruise. It is about 35 minutes from the airport, so we took a Lyft to the hotel. It is in a historically designated building which adds to its appeal. While the gym and laundry were closed for some reason at this time, they did have a pretty much full breakfast for the guests. We were able to walk to the sights we wanted to see...it is about .5 miles to the waterfront with numerous shops and restaurants. It is about a mile from Pikes Market and about 1.5 miles to the Space Needle. We walked to all these places during our stay. The staff is extremely helpful and the lady in charge of the breakfast area made sure everything was continually available and always cleaned the tables as soon as a guest was finished. She did a great job. Our room looked out on Yesler Way so at times it could get a little noisy early in the morning and late at night. Overall, it was a great stay and would stay here again.

My brother booked us rooms here for a nearby concert. They had a few parking spots under the building in a secure garage for only $25/night and more spots in another garage about a block or 2 away (our vehicles were in the first one). This is an older historic hotel that's been updated, and rooms were clean, the location was very convenient to walking everywhere (sports fields, piers, etc.), and breakfast was very good. It's right by the ferry terminals, a good coffee shop right next door, and we ran out of town to visit the large toy story across the street. You can request a fridge in your room, and there is elevator access, vending/ice machines, etc. You can still hear city noise from the rooms, so like any hotel, bring your ear plugs if you are light sleeper. Just a note, while we were in town, we had difficulty finding a sit-down restaurant at 8:30-8:45 on a Friday night, they were closing down (staffing issues? just didn't want to stay open? unsure). Even though plenty of bars were open, we had a minor with us so couldn't do that and wanted to avoid walking around too much after dark for obvious reasons. This hotel felt safe and comfortable, though.

I would give it a 3.5 stars, which is between average and very good.
The front desk employees were polite and accommodating but none smiled except a cheerful friendly slender young woman who was there late at night around 10:30 pm, and a middle-aged man who was there mornings. The breakfast ladies were nice and worked quite hard to make sure everything was kept clean and food items were replenished quickly. It’s a cold breakfast buffet, but it is substantial and has a good variety of items. It includes plain unflavored hardboiled eggs and instant oatmeal. Fortunately they stock regular oatmeal without added sugar, so healthy choices are possible. There’s a self-service waffle maker, boxes of cold cereal, fresh fruit, individual packets of hard cheese, yogurt (but only the kind with sugar, and they should stock the kind that is without sugar), peanut butter, three types of sliced bread, black and green tea. The interior rooms we had were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The building is charming and perhaps dates from the late 1800s, so there are armoires and other furniture which fits the style of that period. Individual safe in each room. However, some things were surprising because this is a Best Western Plus. First, a large painting above the bed was not securely fixed to the wall; it was just hanging from two hooks, and would easily have fallen on our heads in an earthquake. Second, there are absolutely no grab bars in the shower in two different rooms where we stayed. A rubber mat is provided. Mini-fridge available on request. The communal microwave is kept behind the front desk, which is quite inconvenient. They should move it elsewhere, for example into the large business center room, so guests don’t have to wait in line to use it. Very close to the ferry docks, the International District. In that respect, it's a great location. However, the neighborhood is sketchy so best to be careful after dark.

This BW is located in a beautiful historic building in Pioneer Square. We had a standard king room. It was a little on the small side, but was fine for us. Breakfast was typical for a hotel of this type and desk staff were helpful with questions that we had. The location was great, we walked to a Mariner’s game, Chinatown, and other attractions. The only difficulty was parking. Guests pay $30 to park at a garage about one block away. There were no parking spaces available for unloading in front of the hotel, so we had to carry our bags from the garage. I was given a code on my phone to allow us in and out of the garage, but it didn’t work. This wasn’t a problem for us, as we only stayed one night and walked everywhere we wanted to go in the area. The parking attendant said other people had also complained about the code not working. I informed the hotel about the issue, so it’s probably been fixed.

The Best Western Plus Pioneer Square Hotel is located on the southern end in Downtown within the Pioneer Square area that is revitalizing. The hotel is walking distance to Mariners and Seahawks stadiums. It is also within walking distance to the pier area where there is shopping and restaurants.

Mitchell was very helpful in checking us in. We appreciate his help with our gift cards. We also appreciate the free room upgrade to a king bed and parking the car in advance of our check-in.

The hotel interior has a nice old fashion historical look. The rooms are very spacious. I like the comforter design on the bed. The walls are thick where we couldn't hear our neighbors. Just to note that the room doesn't have a refrigerator.

The breakfast is the typical Best Western breakfast without the fresh scrambled eggs. I like how the hotel has a choice between almond and soy milk.

We plan to stay at this hotel again in our next visits to Seattle for tourism or Mariners games.

Location of this hotel not bad. Although not in the very centre of downtown, it's walkable to the central. Chinatown is nearby. Not many druggies or homeless people around the hotel.

There's a metro station "Pioneer Square Station", less than 15 mins on foot, where one can go to airport at a few dollars (fare for taxi alternatively is around USD 50! )

I love the decor and vibe of the interior. Beautiful elegant and nostalgic. Staff helpful and nice.

About the room, mine is an economic one-bed room and it's functional. Quite small but it's ok for me. Cleanliness ok. Price good too.

But there's one thing I don't like which makes me not recommend this hotel (or other types of rooms are better? I don't know). The air conditioner/ heater is at the level of the bed with quite some noise, so I felt so irritated when sleeping as it blew straight to my body and face. I finally turned it off but this however made me rather cold at night. Not comfortable overall. I stayed for 2 nights then switched to another hotel.

Breakfast limited. I didn't expect much though.

A very nice hotel in the heart of Pioneer Square, I loved the fact that it is blocks to the light rail station so I did not need to rent a car.
The building is a classic older brick building with all the modern amenities you could ask for including a continental breakfast.
My room was very nice and comfortable and very quiet for a hotel in the middle of a big city. The best part of the hotel is the staff, they were very helpful and friendly.

The front desk staff were extremely accommodating and kind. They went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable and pleasant stay. They checked us in early after we arrived from our cruise, and made sure that the grab and go breakfast was gluten free for me the next day when we left for the airport. The front desk staff the next day allowed me to choose my own items to put into the bag so that I could get what I wanted that was safe for me to eat. Each time I needed or wanted anything at all during my stay, the staff was always very approachable and eager to help. Some of the best staff I've seen in a hotel in a long time!

Heaven on Earth. This place is a true urban HOTEL. Easily my favorite of all the Best Westerns I've stayed in, and that's probably over 100 different locations. Who needs Hilton or Marriott? This place is NOT a cold, sterile high rise, concrete and glass rectangular box. It is a historic building in the historic Pioneer Square area of downtown Seattle. Incredible old time quaintness, charm and ambience. A four story brick building with oak stairways, beautiful old fireplaces, French doors and walk out terraces, massive windows and impressive Seattle views. Staff was amazing.....Jenni & Faye arranged us a shuttle to Pier 91 for only $15 per person. Trapp at the front desk was a delight. Maria in the breakfast area was amazing. They call it a "continental breakfast," but with their hot and yummy Jimmie Dean breakfast sandwiches it's actually hot. Spotless room, spotless hotel, great bed, great room temp, great cable, room was cozy but still plenty big. For what it offered, I did not find the hotel to be overpriced. We thought it was worth every penny, and felt very safe. A short walk to the water, with plenty of shops and eateries steps away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. In fact, when I die, I might want my ashes scattered at the Best Western Plus Pioneer Square Hotel. A+++++!

I would say the taxi ride is short but not fast. Lots of construction along Elliot Ave. The hotel may have a shuttle for you to the Pier but I took Uber along the waterfront to the Aquarium and it was fast.

Simply park next to the white curb in front of the hotel to unload your bags and check in. At check in we will provide you will a parking pass, and directions to the garage.
