My wife and I stayed at the Pioneer Square Hotel so that we could walk to the Seattle Mariners Opening Day game. It is a flat 0.7 mile 15 minute walk from the hotel to Safeco Field (that from Google Maps). On a game day the Pioneer Square area is great fun with hundreds of fans funneling their way to...

Parking not an issue …. Historic Hotel located at the end of Yesler Way down the hill from Pioneer Square. You use the loading zone in front of the Hotel to transfer luggage to hotel cart. Parking ($20 night) is available using a magnetic card key at nearby Butler Garage ….. in-and-out privileges are not limited. Be careful where you...

We came in with a group of 18 and the staff we very helpful. We were planning on just dropping off our luggage at 9AM and they were able to get us into all but one of our rooms right then. The front desk staff were great, from helping us print ticket passes to museums to storing some fish one...

Although the Pioneer Square area might not seem to be the best location in Seattle, the Best Western Hotel stands out there as a jewel. It is not your typical modern hotel, having been built in about 1920. It has retained much of this old world charm, with the addition of amenities to make it a most comfortable place to...

I stay at Best Westerns a lot, but this one was far and away the best I've ever seen. Not only is it centrally located, near attractions and public transportation, but the staff are incredibly courteous and welcoming. They have a complimentary bag check service if you arrive before check-in time and they even will loan you an umbrella! The...

I had a queen room which was larger than the typical single rooms I get when I travel. My room was cozy and warm. It was not overly ornate. It had technology that I could use without calling my son to ask him to explain it. I loved that there are coffee makers in the rooms. They also have a...

Husband and I did an overnighter to Seattle by way of the ferry. This hotel was in walking distance to the ferry and several area neighborhood, including Pikes Market place. It sits in Pioneer square and you can walk to the various sports fields. It is an old hotel, Hotel Yesler with quite a bit of history, but kept up...

I found this hotel on TripAdvisor and almost could not believe the combination of great rates and great reviews. I figured it would be worth a try. This is a historic property so could have fallen short of expectations. It far exceeded mine, however and proved to be an excellent place for the three nights I was in Seattle. Things...

The hotel was in a great location for exploring the city of Seattle. It is a very nice renovated old historic building. Stay and hotel were great. Only complaints are too many homeless, since across street from park constantly asking for money. Also, pretty noisy at night. I am sound sleeper so did not bother me, but a light sleeper...

This was a combination business and pleasure trip. The hotel was wonderful in all ways especially that there was no blasting music and the staff turned it off when requested. No one else seemed to mind.
