The room was spacious and comfortable, though the placement of the outlets was a little strange -- would be helpful to have one by the desk so my laptop could charge there. There were so many options for lighting with both curtains and darker shades on the windows. There was a water station and a large trash can on each floor so you didn't have to keep food trash in your room. The concierge was also super helpful for local recs, including what places were safe to walk to at what hour.

Dear 360sabreenam, Thank you kindly for your feedback. We are very glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the Inn. Please know that we have started/and are almost finished with outlet installations in all nightstands, and in premier rooms and suites, extra power is being supplied through tabletop/top of nightstand box/device to ensure ample accessible power is available without the need to look for it. Thank you again for your feedback. We hope to be at your service in the future. Sincerely, Kamil Turczanski

Really enjoyed this place! Was in town visiting for 8 days for a wedding. I would have absolutely given this place a 5 star review if not for a couple things. First off yes the hotel is slightly dated but that’s not a big deal, it adds to the charm of it. I had upgraded to a “premier room” which was supposed to have “decadent honor bar snacks, Automatic evening turndown service which was supposed to include various amenities and linen spray, etc”. None of which I received as housekeeping would not enter the rooms the entire time I was there. I’m not exactly sure why I had to pay full premium room price for things that didn’t even exist. Also my mom who was in town with me for a wedding booked a lower category of room than me and had stunning water and skyline views on a high floor while my “premier” room looked at the rooftop of another building on a lower floor. Kind of a rip off being charged more money and not really getting anything “premier.” Also the bartender at Hagerty's was seen several times taking the glass he was about to make a drink in and scooping it into the ice bin. That’s a huge no no. Not sanitary and not to mention what would happen if a glass broke in that ice bin. The staff really is what make this place great though. Everyone I encountered was absolutely lovely and I absolutely would come back here in a heartbeat. I just wouldn’t spend money on a “premium” room again.

Dear SDS87, Thank you for your feedback. We really appreciate it. We have made some changes to servicing rooms; making servicing/turndown upon request. Also, we have not returned to honor bar in the premier rooms yet, but that feature is planned to be re-introduced. It sounds like we may have not removed all of the communication about the premier room amenities for which I apologize. Premier rooms primary value is the size of the rooms and bathrooms which include double sink, soaking tub, and separate shower. I understand that what you expected, and what was important to you was not received. My sincere apologies. I kindly request that you dm me at kturczanski@wac.net so I can help address your dissatisfaction. I will communicate your feedback about the bar tender practice with our leadership team at the Restaurant. Thank you for pointing it out. Thank you kindly for acknowledging the staff at the Club. I am glad to hear that we met/exceeded your expectations. Thank you again for your feedback. We really appreciate to hear what we do well and what may need improving. Sincerely, Kamil Turczanski

The Washington Athletic Club was a fantastic choice for our weekend getaway. It is centrally located, about 10-15 minutes via Lyft from Kings Station, where we arrived by train from the Portland-Vancouver area. A short few blocks takes you to the Seattle Art Museum, Benaroya Hall and Pikes Market. The accommodations were excellent. Not only does it offer a full spa area with gym, pool, and whirlpool for women on one floor and a coed one for all on a different floor, it has wonderful restaurant options ( 2 restaurants and a cafe) as well as a coffee bar and library. The atmosphere is chic and classy, much like a boutique hotel but very affordable. (one does not need to be a member of the club to stay here). Our room on the 12th floor overlooked the skyline with a view of the water and mountains in the distance. The amenities were perfect-lots of room and spacious windows, a small refrigerator, Keurig, ample closet space and comfy beds. The staff at the main desk were kind and gracious when answering our questions and providing extra blankets when we asked. The staff at the restaurants were equally excellent in their professionalism, service and friendly demeanor. The food was outstanding in taste and presentation. All in all, we had a very positive and delightful experience.

From easy nearby parking, to quick easy check-out, my wife and my experience at the Inn on the night before my birthday was first rate, exceptional. No sense of a large hotel, the Inn has the calm of an exclusive club, professional, friendly staff in every important public face location, rooms fresh, furnishings confortable with good work/reading space. Haggerties is an upscale sports bar, Torchey's a bit more formal with a good kitchen. Prime rib +++. Highly recommended, will return.

We are members of the WAC and traveled to Seattle recently for the Taylor Swift concert, and the WAC was where we stayed. We stay there every time we’re in Seattle. This time we had our 6 week old baby with us and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. From the infant crib that was provided to housekeeping and laundry service, we were thrilled with our stay. We stayed in the Elliott Bay Suite which has a beautiful balcony to soak up those summer nights. The bed was so comfortable and the close proximity to all of the hot spots in Downtown Seattle made it nice to be able to park our car and take the city by foot! We even walked to Lumen field for the concert - not a bad walk at all. Thank you for going above and beyond!

The staff at Inn at WAC are exceptional. I stayed on two separate occasions in September 2022 and both times they were able to accomodate an early check in with no fuss. Hagerty’s sports bar has some exceptional staff, including Victor, Gary, Hailey, Josh and Soleil who all make you feel more than welcome. The rooms are well equipped and spacious, particularly for their price point. I will recommend this hotel going forward to colleagues travelling to Seattle and look forward to staying here again.

I have been a member at the WAC for 5 years and after we moved to Southern California, it’s become the only place we stay whenever we visit Seattle. I recently stayed here for a one night stay on a quick stopover. The beds are so comfortable and the staff is so friendly. Definitely opt for a Premier Room with a tub - such a great way to relax after a long day! I love being able to take a quick walk downtown to Pike Place Market and also only being a 20 minute ride to the airport. Definitely will be back!

The rooms are very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The lobby, the library and reading area are very nice and well appointed. The staff are professional and very attentive. The windows open to let fresh sea air into the room. The whole club feels like you are indeed staying in a private, safe club.
Hoping that the 3 food venues extend the hours later in the evening especially on the weekends.
Once again, a very nice stay...the place to stay in Seattle.

I stayed at the Inn at the WAC for a weekend (not a member) and spontaneously booked a shellac manicure at the spa. I had the pleasure of being pampered by Lucy, who I can’t recommend highly enough. Lucy did an excellent job all around - shaping/filing, cutting cuticles, painting, etc. Not only that, but it was an absolute treat to spend time talking with her. If I was ever in Seattle again and wanted a manicure, I would go out of my way to see Lucy 10/10 times.

prices? thank you
Answer from Kamil T
Robert, Our prices vary depending on day/season. In order to stay at the Inn, you need to be sponsored - Inn is part of Washington Athletic Club(private club). We differentiate between member rates and guest rates. Our rates in the winter for a guest could be as low as $160/night, and in the summer - as high as $299/ night for a standard room. Hope that helps, Sincerely, Kamil Turczanski
