I have so many good things to say about this hotel I don't know where to start. The staff is phenomenal - so courteous, friendly, and thorough. There were a few hiccups during our stay and they were all compensated generously. For example, the first room that we checked into was a little unclean. They immediately moved us and compensated...

I was there to lecture at a conference that was held in the Hilton...It was convenient overall...there is no Hilton shuttle from/to the airport...fare was around $23.00 + tip USD...arrival & check in (as a Hilton Honors member) was fast, efficient & friendly....room was comfortable & clean...again, this is an older property but apparently well maintained...the one thing that stood...

Such friendly staff, everyone we talked to was welcoming. This is a great location to walk to restaurants. Parking is a pain, like all of anchorage (valet and lots) ... and cost can be high. But had a good experience.

The hotel was very clean and the employees were helpful and friendly. Overall, I had a good experience. This hotel is located right downtown near shopping and restaurants. I had a major problem parking when I did not use valet (which is $30/night). Beware of using the lot down the hill on a weekend as during the summer there is...

Dear Jeanettek354, Thank you so much for taking the time to review your experience here at the Hilton Anchorage. I am sorry to hear of the inconvenience you experienced regarding parking. It is true the lot just across the street from our main entrance closes on the weekends to make way for the Anchorage Market and Festival. They usually post...

Room too dusty, bathroom showers look old, too cold room, and outside does not look good. Certainly not worth the money. Look for a cheaper decent hotel, and you may end up getting a better value for money. This is what we did :).

clean room, darkening curtains for the very late setting sun, great mattresses! Slept SO well! I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN. Plus, they have cold storage for fish, food that you would like to bring home with you.

I hesitated to stay here because the web photos make the hotel seem outdated. I was happy to be wrong. I have stayed at the Marriott, Sheraton and now Hilton in Anchorage and the Hilton is by far the best option for views, service, and location. The staff here are insanely friendly and professional. They make you feel welcome and...

Hotel was nice enough but skip it if they only have smoking floor rooms available. I didn't and regret it. Bathrooms were dated and never felt clean after a shower because the heavy aroma of nicotine in the air.
