Very good location - easy walk to town - market - railway and watch salmon fishing - very neat and tidy - good facilities and very friendly staff - so neat to see and hear the train passing through - while it looks a little rough getting to the area there were no concerns and would stay again as have...

It is a convenient location to walk downtown from here although I would not do so at night. The bathrooms and laundromat are very clean. The sites are basically in a parking lot in an industrial area so do not expect a scenic view.

Clean, quiet and friendly RV park. Close to downtown activities and within walking distance. Easy to find. Easy check in. Owners very friendly and helpful. No extra fees for using their facilities and Internet does work thru out campground.

Yes there are trains that come thru on tracks beside the park but the other advantag\es make Ship Creek a no brainer. Lots of grass, sites that are either completely or almost level and actually lots of green grass for tenting

We stayed one night. They have a nice laundry and shower. The office is only open until 5 or 6, so we were lucky to get in before then, I don't know what others do. It is basically a parking lot next to a railroad. I hate parking next to people, but it was okay for Anchorage and I would...

We stayed in this RV park two nights over Labor Day Weekend based on the recommendation of an RV repair shop in Anchorage. This well-run campground is within easy walking or biking distance of downtown Anchorage. Tucked in between the railroad tracks and a leafy hillside, it provided the access we needed to restaurants, shops, the outdoor market, and the...

We picked up our rental RV here last July 26, 2016. The management crew are outstanding! John, the owner (I think!) was very patient with us when we were late in returning the RV. He did not charged us any late fee or whatsoever. He even let us dump in his RV park for free! The RV we rented was...

This is a nice RV Park so very close to town. That's the benefit of staying here. It's not recreational camping. The staff are very friendly, the grounds are clean and it is so close to downtown and biking trails. If you need to fly in or out of Anchorage, taxis will pick you up and drop you off from...

We saw the mixed reviews on TA when we were looking for a place to stay in Anchorage with our 26-foot 5th wheel. However, its proximity to the downtown area and coastal trails was what won us over and we're glad we stayed here. Though not a high end RV park, the spaces were easy to access, the staff friendly...

This RV park is close to town, walking distance for most. There is also a city trolly that comes to a nearby store for those who can't walk quite as far. It is in an industrial part of town but once you turn the corner you wouldn't know it. The train does run right next to it and planes fly...
