We really enjoyed our stay here as part of a Princess land tour. The room was nice with comfy bed and more than enough room. No air & it was unseasonably warm but we got a nice breeze through the windows and slept great with the blackout curtains. Breakfast was very good both days and we ate at Fletcher's both...

Dear nandipandi, Thank you for staying at the Hotel Captain Cook during your Princess Cruise up to Alaska. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay here and got to experience our very weird warm weather! It was so unusual for it to be that hot during the summer, but it did make spending time outside very enjoyable....

This is a really lovely hotel, helpful staff, well appointed but we were given a room that even in the middle of the afternoon was unacceptable due to noise from the lift. I dread to think what it might have been like trying to sleep. We were able to change rooms and during the discussion it was mentioned that we...

Stayed here before a Princess cruisetour and hotel was booked through Princess. The rooms were old but nice and the bed was very comfortable. However we had two nights of very poor sleep due to hearing the elevator all night! We were in room 1473 with one room (1471) between us and the elevator. We heard the elevator motor all...

We arrived here July 19,2015 for 2 nights. Room was good- but the service was fabulous when I realized that I had left my ID in room and was now stranded at King Salmon on return flight from Katmai. No excuse for me leaving it- and no one asked for it on out bound charter. Called hotel who sent security...

We spent one night at the Captain Cook after touring Alaska for 12 days. Beautiful hotel, great service staff, comfortable beds and spacious room. Wish we could have stayed longer. The location was perfect for shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel, and the food was good but not great. Bathroom was a little small,...

This hotel has great views from the smaller of the towers. We stayed at the captain cook level and they had great breakfast and beverages. The hotel is centrally located and there are bike trails close by as well as wonderful walks. The only small complaint is the bathrooms need a makeover. Would come back.

As the last leg of our Princess Cruise tour, the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage far exceeded my expectations. Elegance, charm and world class service is what I got. The mattress was the most comfortable I have ever had...and I travel a lot. I will be calling the GM to find out the brand-I want to purchase one for myself!

We checked in for 4 days and had a wonderful experience. Room was great with a splendid water view. We saw Denali a couple of nights. We were on the 16th floor - I do recommend a high floor. The bathroom is small but adequate and the complimentary breakfast and evening appetizers were great.
