I stayed here with my son April 2013 and it was wonderful so this was my first choice for a stay with my hubby. We stayed 2 nights while visiting our son. Last time there were only a couple of guests, this time Susitna was full but I could not tell the difference. It was quiet and clean and comfortable.... More

Stayed here for almost two nights in May in the Denali Room. Had chosen this place from the reviews on Trip Advisor and the positive response I received from Linda (owner) when I made a query about staying. We arrived very early, around 6am, to be admitted by Linda into the room I had booked for the previous night to... More

I stayed at Susitna Place for two nights in May/June 2014. The location is very good - quite, with nice view from the common area and only a short walk to the city center of Anchorage. Room was clean, with TV and Wifi. The room had a door to the shared bathroom, which was very convinient. The most thing I... More

Whenever possible we really like to stay at b&b's and Susitna Place proves the rule once again. The rooms were very nice and clean. The host Linda helped me find an urgent care clinic as I needed some medical help with a nasty cold. Met some people from the usa and around the world. Shared a taxi with some folks... More

We stayed in the Susitna Suite for 2 nights last year when we first arrived in Anchorage and found the Suite very nice, well worth the extra money to stay in this Suite. Excellent location to walk to downtown Anchorage. My husband went on a bear viewing flight early the first morning and was given a bag so he could... More

We stayed 10 nights, using the Redoubt room, the Denali Suite, & the Susitna Suite. The location is ideal for walking downtown for shopping & dining. The house was lovely and immaculately clean. Breakfasts were great, with lots of options and a fabulous view. Rates were extremely reasonable, and the owner, Linda, was very kind and helpful. She was a... More

Beautiful views, convenient location, and Linda was an excellent hostess! Breakfast was diverse and delicious, and I appreciated her selection of teas. Denali and Susitna rooms have great views of the Cook Inlet. Try to get a room with a private bath. The shared bath was clean, but I just like having my own.

The accomodation itself was good- clean rooms, good service by the nice and attentive owner, clean bathrooms. The breakfast was very good and tasty. The views from the main living room/balcony area are awesome. It is a little tricky to get to if you've never been to anchorage (we ended up down the hill on our initial taxi ride) but... More

We stayed one night after arriving on the Aurora Winter train, so it was a brief stay. The property is right in downtown Anchorage with a beautiful view of Cook Inlet and the Alaska range. You can even see Denali from the deck, which conveniently faces north, if the aurora should be out. We seem to be the only guests,... More
