Read the recent review quoted above - we could not say it better! We must have had the same King suite room at the end of the corridor. We would add that the wifi was useless in the room (OK in the reception area). The person on reception had a detached zombie-like attitude and we wish we had ignored the... More

We did a weekend getaway. Staying here felt mildly luxurious and steeped in history. Lovely staff; great breakfast and steps away from anything in downtown Boulder. You must check out the museum while there. And if you're lucky, someone will be playing the grand piano in the lobby while you're there enjoying the fire in the fireplace.

We loved our short stay at the Boulder Dam Hotel. The welcome from staff was wonderful and the hotel is a truly charming and relaxing environment. Sure it may not be for everyone, in these times when people expect a lot of space and glitz for their buck! However the Boulder Dam Hotel is a truly historic American hotel. It... More

Our room was a king suite, only available room. It was at the end of the hall which would have been great for fresh air but the windows were painted shut and the room was very out dated and musty and strong chemical cleaning products. The fan was very loud which caused a bad night sleep for my husband. The... More

Great little hotel but what made it for us were the staff. Whacky does not describe them well enough. The lady who checked us in and the server at breakfast were as mad as a March Hare - in a very pleasant/nice way. They were just brilliant and could not do enough for everyone. Great complimentary breakfast with plenty to... More

This hotel is in the historic quarter of the city and is well positioned for access to local eateries. The hotel reception is impressive and has been preserved in its original style and is well maintained. The receptionist was very welcoming and informative. Our room was of adequate size, bearing in mind the era that it was build. A small... More

Nicely restored historical hotel in the downtown historic district. Clean, comfortable room and very friendly and helpful staff. The included breakfast was very good and the dining room bright and airy. The historic museum in the building is very interesting. Short walk to restaurants and cafes, with lots of wonderful sculptures along the main street. Fun place to visit!

Great location to walk to places in town. Easy to get to from airport and close to Hoover Dam. It's very quaint, older hotel. Pretty lobby and interesting photos. The room was old and small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included and was very good. We did not go to the Museum. Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful... More

My wife and I stayed for only one night in this quaint hotel near Vegas, because we had to catch a flight out of McCarran International the next morning. We really didn't want to stay in Vegas, and this hotel was near the Hoover Dam, and about thirty minutes from McCarran. We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It... More

Really like the setting downtown Boulder city. Nice historic style. Clean and comfortable room. Really good breakfast! I like the historic artifacts all over the hotel. Boulder city is really close to the Hoover dam, this hotel is a good choice to stay at.
