We arrived on the 29 th or actually the 30th after heraklion airport was closed and we landed at Athens first. Not the greatest start with 2 children age 10 and 13. Considering the stress the heat and stumbling in the dark up the lane to the marigianna as our coach driver couldn't find it! We fell into bed and...

We loved Marigianna Apartments. Newly refurbished apartments that are kept spotless, along with the pool & gardens. The family who own Marigianna can not do enough for you & are so welcoming. Good location in Sissi. If you hire a car take a trip to Crete aquarium by far the best aquarium we've been to. Had a brilliant holiday &...

Myself and boyfriend recently spent a week here after being recommend by my partners parents who also had a fantastic time. I cannot describe just how wonderful it was. The hotel was the cleanest I had ever stayed in and the family who run it were amazing, we felt welcomed immediately. Billy in particular was great, he makes amazing cocktails,...

I whole heartedly agree with all the 5* reviews. What an amazing, welcoming and social place to stay in the centre of a picturesque village. The Sunday BBQ provided during our stay was a fantastic night. The effort went to by the whole family was second to none. The food itself was plentiful and delicious and topped by a great...

We have just returned from our second visit for this year to Marigianna. First visit in May, just my sister and I, it was perfect. Manos, Vasilis, Gianna and Louis cannot be more welcoming. They welcome us back like family. Clare cooks the breakfasts and my husband, Dad and son-in-law enjoyed the English breakfasts. The poolside snacks are tasty and...

We enjoyed our stay here. The guests were all very friendly. The apartment was clean and practical. Sissi is a beautiful little place, perfect for our two year old. My only problem with the apartments was the noise at night. The bar will open at anytime if the clientele is there, so sometimes this could go on until 4.30am! The...

My wife and I, on our 1st visit to Crete, spent the middle 2 weeks of July here and were looked after extremely well by all the staff. Manos is a quietly spoken, polite and helpful gent, who is always willing to assist guests when needed. Son Billy, energetically runs the bar from midday to approx midnight. The swimming pool...
