It is very cold inside the room as though there is no heater. The heater is on but seems not working. The breakfast is so so. I would recommend staying this hotel during summer times. The staff is helpful and friendly.

After carefully negotiating the dense fog and steep mountain pass on Route 95, we were ready to unwind for the evening — and found this place to be more than satisfying for our needs :). The facility is a former school which has been nicely renovated (super clean rooms, comfortable beds, good amenities, etc) and we really enjoyed the spacious dining room, excellent restaurant, and breakfast with a large array of yummy items. The small staff worked very hard to serve the guests with many smiles and much politeness (really appreciated after a long day of driving). It’s somewhat off the regular travel route (many folks opt to take the longer coastal Route 1 to the east instead of 95, so as to avoid the narrow/winding mountain road), albeit it’s a short detour to the hotel... and the prices are very reasonable for the level of accommodations and service. Enjoy :))

The hotel is a bit far from the town of Breiddalsvik, nothing much around. It seems they have many group tours, so we got a cottage in the garden behind the hotel. This was a room with two separate beds, a small kitchenette and a bathroom. Wifi was good and it was very, very quiet. The restaurant serves a choice of three meals and the fish with Spanish sauce was very tasty. Service is very friendly. Breakfast has a good choice. All in all we were very satisfied.

We were 2 couples. One got a normal room. We got room no. 215, that is very !! very tiny! .We had not gotten any reward about it before. How do the staff make it? They want us to have bad ? to argue?have bad feelings ? Even the toilet was not decent. In order to get in, you should enter to the shower
