We were the only guest staying at the Hotel that night and the owner was very friendly. Our room was huge and clean and of Course without any other guests it was very quiet there :) Breakfast was made just for the two of us and included everyhing we could have wished for very nicely done!!

Very helpful and friendly staff. We had dinner at the restaurant, yes it was expensive but it was also good. Our room was comfortable. We did see some reindeer not far from here. Also sheep eating in the front grassy area of the hotel. And a beautiful orange fluffy bunny. Does remind me of a European style hotel and restaurant....

My wife and I spent a night in late August and found the hotel clean, friendly, comfortable, and with surprisingly good food. Our room was older style but quite comfortable. The staff were very accommodation and seemed to juggle various guests with ease. Dinner was cooked to order, quite good, and they offer a full bar. The breakfast buffet next...

We stayed in Iceland for 11 nights and this was the worst night because of the state of the room. The hotel is beautifully located in a gorgeous landscape anf the staff is very nice. We actually had a pnctured tire and one of the staff even picked us up from the car repair workshop. However the hotel itsself is...

We booked here because there was nothing else available within an hours drive. On the plus side, the staff was lovely and very helpful. The breakfast buffet, included with the room, was a real plus. On the downside, the soap dispenser was empty, our reading lamp's bull was burned out, the bathroom wasn't cleaned well, the linens were minimal, and...

My family of 6 stayed here one night while we were in the East. It is an older hotel reminiscent of less expensive European hotels. The rooms are small but not more so than other European hotels. We booked through Iceland Farm Holidays. There was a miscommunication, as I had requested two rooms with three beds each. When we got...

Stayed there last week with family. Room/bathroom was a bit small. When the hotel heard we had kids too they moved us to a "larger" room but was small too. However what the room lacked in size the hotel made up with the service. Since we were vegetarians the hotel allowed us to cook our own stuff in their kitchen and...

I had a good stay, I was on a motorcycle and I found it difficult to find, saw a sign for it, it did not say how far down the road so I had to keep scanning for it. Room was nice, private shower. They have a sauna and hot tub, but I didn't try it. I would stay again.

Very rudimentary accomodation in an isolated area (pretty area though). Poor bedding, very average beakfast, bad wifi (understandable with how remote it is), tiny room .... Some smiling staff but that's it.... A one niter if you have no other option, but at €140 a night. Thank god Iceland's beauty make up for it.

This was one of our favourite accommodations in Iceland. Clean and big rooms, quiet in the countryside, attentive staff and lovely dinner and breakfast. Free wifi and Fred parking. Only letdown was the not working satellite tv and it was football championship 😬 but we would come back!
