Near all the attractions that Speingfield has to offer, Carpenter Street Hotwl is a great hotel for visitors to the city. Specious and comfortable rooms. Cable television, shuttle service within a five mile radius and a morning hot breakfast gives guests many reasons to stay and enjoy Lincoln's home town.

This hotel is nothing more than a place to lay your head. It is near St. Jos hospital, and that's all it has going for it. The employees do not go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The carpet in the room I was in was filthy. The paint on the bathroom walls were peeling. I would...

We liked our 4 night stay in Springfield at the hotel. We loved how it was so close to downtown. Also close to grocery store, restaurants, gas stations. It was a hot stay, but glad our A/C in the room worked great. We had a couple of front desk staff who were very helpful, Xavier, others. The only thing I...

Clean and spacious room for a good price. We were there on a Sunday night so not many eateries open. Not sure why the receptionist told us about the free shuttle service into town that the hotel operates - we were delighted to hear about it. Later on when we had every intention of using it, we were then informed...

Clean place for a nice price. Close to the Abraham Lincoln home and museum. Very good deal. I wish there were more restaurants nearby. We were there on a weekend, and it seemed like a lot of restaurants and attractions were closed on Sunday.

Great location if visiting the Lincoln Museum. Walking distance to many restaurants. Lobby and front desk personnel were great. Rooms were clean and very updated. Nice sheets and pillows. So impressed with the quality at a great price. Allowed us to stay parked at the hotel and we just walked to the Lincoln site.
