The staff was helpful at check in. It was called ahead if there was outside electric, for hookups for an extension cord (needed to charge boat batteries). There was only 1 outside hookup. There were probably 8 boats, so it did'nt work. The rooms where fairly clean, and I did not see any bugs or rodents.

We have stayed at this Red Roof MANY times due to the price and the wonderful front desk night manager, David, who is terrific and will do anything to help improve your stay. I was very impressed with the lady that checked us in. I wish I got her name. We checked in around Midnight after a long day of driving. She checked us in and noticed we had a rough day and gave us a nice quiet with nobody near us. The room was clean and looked like it was recently remodeled....

The hotel is showing signs of aging and neglect. Housekeeping definitely neglected to clean. It appears as if room hasn't been cleaned in awhile. The rooms are dirty, furniture and walls are scratched up. Definitely not worth the price.

Ok, it's not the 4 Seasons. I've stayed here 3 or 4 times in the last couple of years and the quality and friendliness has been consistent. Hotel showed signs of neglect - broken heater, broken chair, paint on the floor. Maintenance tried to fix the heater but we had to change rooms eventually. He complained that the owners were too cheap to keep things fixed. Not good enough to be a part of the Red Roof chain.

David has always been very helpful and kind when I come to this Inn. I stay at least two nights a week here for business. I am very satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. I will continue to stay here for the duration of my travels to Springfield.
