I spent my last night in Iceland at Silica Hotel to enjoy a day at the Blue Lagoon, and honestly when I arrived at the hotel I almost didn't want to leave to go to the bigger lagoon because the hotel's own pool is all you need! Although you do get a premium pass to the Blue Lagoon included with...

Stayed here for 1 night as a special birthday treat for my hubby. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed so comfortable it was like sinking into a bed of marshmallows. Staff very friendly and professional and the facilities excellent. We had a meal in the Bistro bar which was good value for money and spent three afternoon and...

Checked in early December for one night before returning home. The hotel is very expensive, yes, but you get what you pay for. In comparison to the private lagoon area at the hotel, the main public lagoon is rubbish! I had most of the lagoon to myself or with a couple of others for most of the time, there is...

Stayed at this hotel twice while touring Iceland on the Ring Road. Each time was fantastic! The private Blue Lagoon is well worth the price. Such a relaxing experience to have the whole Lagoon almost all to myself. It's a fairly big Lagoon too. I also was at the normal, public Blue Lagoon and the two experiences do not compare....

I visited this hotel with my partner in January. The hotel itself is very nice and clean, good location for easy access to the blue lagoon. The staff however were primitive and treated us very unfairly. On our second night before heading out to dinner we received a phone call from the Manager who said if we dont turn our...

Our first night in Iceland and we were thrilled to start it the way. The staff were friendly and welcomed us to the hotel. The room was lovely - very cosy and tasteful and everything was good quality. I loved the view of the moss covered lava and the steam from the blue lagoon across the rocks. I loved the...

When you booked a room, the premium package to the Blue Lagoon is included. Best value package! They have their own private lagoon. I used their private lagoon in the morning so not many people were using it. Very quiet :) Their breakfast was great as well. I had lunch at LAVA restaurant, Blue Lagoon and their food was FANTASTIC!!...

this is a pricey hotel, but it is well worth it. It is a smaller property, with only 15 rooms, so you wont see the bus loads of tourists clogging up the area. The bed was super comfortable and the wifi was the fastest we have had in Iceland during the entire trip. They also provide sandals and robes to...

This was my second stay (when we stayed last year, it was called the Blue Lagoon Clinic Hotel). A wonderful hotel but at quite the price. What you pay for is having the luxury of going from your room to the lagoon. And even better from the lagoon to your room and straight to bed. And of course access to...

My wife and I chose to end our 5 night stay in Iceland at The Hotel Silica. It is very expensive but a perfect way to finish off our trip. A beautiful calm and serene oasis in an amazing geothermal and volcanic landscape. We chose to visit the Blue Lagoon as soon after check-in as possible. We booked a table...
