We spent three nights at Guesthouse Nonni, which was a convenient location for us to visit Vik, Porsmork and the South Iceland area. Bjorg prepared a wonderful breakfast each morning with several homemade breads (two new each day), along with waffles, fruit, cereal/yogurt (including homemade muselix), cheese/meats, and coffee/juices. It was absolutely wonderful! We appreciated learning more about Iceland and...

First the pros; Clean, comfortable, well situated and a very good breakfast. Cons; Expensive for what is offered compared to other places we visited in Iceland and without a doubt, the coldest reception we received during our entire 3 week tour of the United Kingdom and Iceland. The normal host was not there and his daughter was replacing him. Upon arrival,...

My 13 year old and I enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse Nonni. It felt personal, and Bjorg made sure we were well taken care of. I have dietary restrictions, and she asked several times if I had enough to eat at breakfast (I did, and it was good). The bed was very comfortable, and the bathrooms are kept clean and...

We spent a night here and initially we were a bit surprised for that we wouldn't have a private bathroom for the price we would be paying but we learned that it's Iceland -- everything is expensive! It turned out to be a great value actually, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast were excellent. I wish the bathroom...

We just came back from Iceland, my hubby and 2 kids, 9 and 7 years old. We stayed at Guesthouse Nonni in Hella and loved it. The lady who owns the place was super nice and made us great breakfast. Our kids loved the food as much as we did. The room was clean, beds comfortable, blankets warm. The bathrooms...

We thoroughly enjoyed your time at Guesthouse Nonni. Björg was a lovely hostess, taking time over breakfast to share about her life and Icelandic culture. She provided excellent food, including homemade bread, muesli, and jams for breakfast. A great way to start our day!

My husband and I stayed for one night during our time in the South of Iceland before we headed to Seljalandsfoss and a day-hike of Fimmvörðuháls. Everything was extremely clean and well kept. In the lobby there was a great deal of literature about the area and there were even some books about birding and flora of Iceland. In the...

We really enjoyed our one night stop over at guesthouse nonni with our children 10 and 8. We were pleased to be allowed to arrive late after our day at the golden circle and secret lagoon had started later due to a car hire issue. The guesthouse was v welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was a highlight with some of...

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and were very impressed. The small town of Hella is an excellent location to stay and take day trips to the many wonderful locations in South Iceland. Our room and the shared bathrooms were very clean. It was quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable. Our favorite part of...

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night out of our 3 night Iceland trip. Our room and shared bath were exceptionally clean. Our host, Bjorg, was very pleasant and prepared a wonderful breakfast for us-- waffles, homemade jams, hard cooked eggs, meats, homemade breads, lamb pate, juices, fruit and cereals. Would definitely stay here again.
