Lovely experience. Atmosphere was very cozy. Borg, our hostess, was very kind and helpful. She really tried to help us with all our questions about the places we wanted to visit, search in Internet for useful websites, and provided us brochures and maps. We requested early breakfasts because we had to leave early for our daily expeditions, and she was...

We stayed here for only one night during our roadtrip around Iceland. Nonni was so friendly and made us feel welcome. The guesthouse has a homey atmosphere with amazing beds. Hands down the best night on our trip! Also waking up to the smell of fresh baked bread and waffles is a huge plus. The breakfast was no doubt the...

Our hosts Nonni and his daughter Aruna (sp?) were wonderful hosts. They were informative and knew of a variety of out-of-the-way places. Our room was comfortable and importantly, had a good night shade. The breakfast was ample with baked breads, smoked trout and waffles. Hella is a good location as it has a supermarket, restaurants and a well stocked gas...

The guesthouse was really pretty, located in quiet surroundings, quite close to the supermarket, gas station and an ATM. But what was most memorable were beds: really comfortable, I had a great night sleep there. The host was really welcoming and friendly. The breakfast - really delicious. I absolutely recommend this place and plan to stay here again when I...

Just off highway 1 and a block from the main street of Hella, guesthouse Nonni was an enjoyable place to spend the night. Nonni is an older gentleman who seems to run the place by himself, with the help of his cute puppy, Zorro. The rooms are small but nicely appointed, comfortable and very clean. There is a bath with...

I stayed at Guesthouse Nonni with Jon and Zorro the first night out of Reykjavik on a 27 day self-drive tour of all of Iceland. Jon sets a very high bar for other hosts. He not only serves his homemade waffles and breads for breakfast at his cozy dining room table, he loves to visit with each and every guest....

We stayed in Nonni´s house our second night. We were nicely welcome. Nonni told us everything what we needed to know and showed us his house. We were also greeted by Zoro (cute dog). The room was big enough and shared bathroom was really clean with towels and shower gel. I must admit that what it impressed me most it...

We recently stayed one night on our trip to Iceland. We really enjoyed our visit and Nonni gave us some extremely valuable tips for our visit. His recommendations led us to several of our favorite spots in all of Iceland. He was very friendly and knows the area so well. The house was very clean and comfortable. The rooms are...
