Like many other reviewers, we were impressed with the excellent location, helpful staff, and the appealing 24 hour availability of water, juice, and sodas. (In the morning, the hotel adds small breakfast pastries. These are not the typical American pastries, but Spanish sweet olive oil tortas. Delicious -- sweet and crispy like elephant ear pastries -- and just enough to...

My husband and I stayed there in September for a Harvard reunion. The hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance to Harvard Square, the Yard and more. I agree with TravellarkFL, the noise is the only issue. Not from other guests, but outside noise. For those who normally live in the middle of big city will likely not notice, but...

The location is fabulous. The decor and comfort of the room is fabulous. The service staff we met couldn't have been any more helpful and charming. Hot tea and coffee by the check-in desk was a welcome touch. Only one complaint, which is no fault of the hotel: noise. But it's a good trade-off for the hotel's proximity to Harvard...

I already wrote a review somewhere else, but thought that I used Tripadvisor all the time and ought to put my comments here as well. We stayed in the hotel in October, and love the nights we were there. We were offered a upgrade even though we did not mention anything at all. The hotel staff went out of their...

This hotel has a lot to recommend it -- location, well designed, complimentary bottled water, juice, coffee, tea any time, radiant heat in bathroom floors, friendly and accommodating staff, lobby with gas fireplaces and comfy furniture -- but the rooms are SMALL and the closets TINY, especially for the price. If we had not had a balcony, it would have...

The hotel is well located for touring Cambridge. Most sites are within walking distance. Our room was small, but well appointed. The staff was knowledgable and friendly. They knew all the local restaurants. The hotel does not have a restaurant of its own, but there are a number of small places nearby for breakfast. We hope that the hotel will...

I stayed in room 105, a small queen room on the first floor facing Massachusetts Ave. It was 15-20 feet from the curb. The close proximity to a major street with buses, early morning garbage trucks, and pedestrians outweighed the beautiful decor and high quality linens. Did I mention the red line tracks are right underground? Mild rumbling like a...

Pros - Lovely hotel right by Harvard Square. Nice furnishings, very clean, lovely toiletries, linens, heated bathroom floor. Cons - I knew the room would be small - but I have closets that are bigger My daughter & I shared a room with two twin beds. There was just a table, tv on the wall & a hassock but no...

I loved finding this boutique hotel in Harvard Square. It's great that it exists as there are a limited number of choices in the area. And I thought it was a pretty decent value. However, there are a number of things that impacted the quality of the experience. Our room was very small...i expected small but it was barely bigger...

This hotel has everything you need, comfort, style, and size that is big enough for the great things and small enough to be private intimate and loving. It is centrally located especially for my needs to be near a medical center for day treatment. The staff is amazing and will go their way to make sure your stay is wonderful...
