Spent the weekend with my family, including my children, and had a great experience. Hotel was A+. When we arrived, David apologized for the room but within minutes had found us a perfect alternate room. We needed an extra blanket and it was delivered promptly at 11:30pm. Terrific service. The club lounge was excellent for breakfast and a pre-dinner snack...

My partner and there stayed here for a week at the end of October as he was on a trade union course at Harvard. The room we stayed in was dark and dingy, no natural light and bear in mind it cost €210 a night! When you put the air con on, it sounded like you were sleeping near to...

Great hotel location, but very poor room. Junior suite. Couch and chair were like sitting on cement. There was no chest of drawers, only two very shallow drawers under the tv. No place to store your clothing. There was also no storage area in the bath. We had to perch our toiletries on the windowsill. There were also no towel...

Great location, friendly staff, room was great. Breakfast in club lounge was a little weak in my opinion (and lounge was also tiny), but I haven't been to a ton of Sheraton lounges so I'm not really sure what is normal. I did have to fight with the staff at checkin to get them to honor the perk of being...

Two friends and I shared a large room for three nights. A rollaway bed was brought in and was very comfortable, as were the two double beds. Pluses: Good free wi-fi. Very clean. Extremely responsive staff. Excellent location for Harvard Square activities and close to MBTA. Charming old building. Minuses: Small bathroom, insufficient towel bars, only one sink. Street noise...

Although the Sheraton Commander would not walk away with the qualification of "boutique hotel" it was a pleasant experience. The quality of the room was good and the breakfast was also fine. However the difference was made by the staff. I hate the plastic standard question of "hi, how are you doing today" when they actually don't even want you...

We stayed here rather than a newer and fancier hotel in the area, primarily because of location plus some fond memories from 50 years ago. The Sheraton is an older hotel (built in the 1920s on the site of where George Washington took command of the American Army). When it opened, it was billed as a palatial and elegant hotel-apartment....

Stayed there while on an executive course at Harvard. Rooms are fairly large, very comfortable beds. Decor is a bit dated and would need more light in the room especially when one needs to study. When checking in for our recent stay, we were upgraded to the club level thanks to our SPG Gold status. Room was beautiful, spacious and clean. Club lounge breakfast spread was really...
